Sorry for the delay girls - and any new potential members! Been rather caught up sorting the post new year disasters.
Anyway the next book group meeting:
Wednesday, 18th February,Queens Head Cullercoats at 6pm.
Books are - The Shack by William Hall Young and Notes from an Exhibition by Patrick Gale.
Well recommended by Jill who says if you only have time to read 1 book make it The Shack.
Your turn to choose next Sue.
Don't forget your books for swaps girls.
Looking forward to a usual great night supported by good grub and of course excellent company!

See you all there - and of course any new members who would like to join us!

Jean

Well,,what can you say....another great evening at the Queens Head !!!! Food up to it's excellent standard, company and conversation great, as was the chat about the books - both in parrticular and general.
Next meeting, same time, 6pm at the Queens Head Cullercoats. on 1st April.
Books we are reading before then are:
Testimony by Anita Shreve and The Suspicions of Mr Whicher OR the Murder at Road Hill House by Kate Summerscale
See you all then, and welcome to any new members - just come along even if you haven't managed to read the books!!!
Dianne don't forget you are choosing the books next time
and
Everyone don't forget swaps if you have any.

See you all on the 1st, will post a reminder nearer the time.

Regards, Jeanx

I am sorry to say that I will not beable to make it on the 1st. I have had a change in hours at work. I have read the murder at road hill house and really enjoyed it but got a bit swamped by the detail.

Anyway have a great night and look forward to seeing you next time
