There was a recipe in this months Sainsbury's mag for Hot Gin. Gin, lemon, hot water and sugar/honey to taste. I'm looking forward to trying it!

I usually end up having a bath - the steam seems to help. And I use baby breatheasy bath foam - Johnsons, Boots, they all do one.

And chicken noodle soup - a childhood favourite

My other half is in his third week of keeping me awake with his constant coughing and sniffling. He has at last said he will go to the doctor in the morning if I can get an appointment !!

I think all the country has had some sort of upset with this virus. I haven't a clue what to do. Would be pleased for any advise.

Am I the only person on the forum who hasn't had it?

My cure for colds is freshly squeezed oj topped up with hot water. I inhale Olbas oil and have lots of hot, steamy baths before bed and have an extra pillow at nights to help with any coughing.

If it is really, really bad I go straight to Day Nurse and Night Nurse.

Hope you are all better soon.
Take care.

Thank you to everyone for your advice. I will definitely be trying some of the recommendations.

Btw Patdock...my hubby would sympathise with you as I've been keeping HIM awake with my sniffing and coughing.
