Hi Jacqui,

If you look 3 posts down you will see a Norfolk Supper Club post, may be we could all join up? Judith6 has PMed me so if you PM her then we may be getting somewhere! Let's hope so!

If it all gets a bit complicated it may be worth starting a new post again?

Hello Jacqui, Gemini and Lizbet,
I have tried to check out the Norfolk Supper Club but it is rather confusing, I have had a busy week so it could be just me?

Now we are getting somewhere, how about fixing a date and time for coffee end of Feb to discuss how we want to set this up? Any suggestions, The Swan in Southwold is fine by me, or Early Dawn, even Morrisons at Pakefield. I am off on a Tuesday if no good to anyone else may have to make a weekend or an evening drink instead, any suggestions of date and venue?

The Swan in Southwold sounds good to me especially if hot chocolate's on the menu. It will have to be an evening for me,weekend or Feb school holiday if during the day. (16th-20th Feb)

Hi, Jacqui_o,dollymum & wispa, hav just enjoyed hectic but brilliant weekend celebrating my big 50, and super meal at restaurant in Beccles which I would thoroughly reccomend as a possible future venue for supper club, anyway just thought I would throw in a couple of dates for meeting up for coffee at The Swan in Southwold, Sat 21st February or Tuesday 24th Feb, however if this is half term it may be VERY busy in Southwold and meeting elsewhere might be easier but I really don't mind, over to you...

Good Morning everyone,

well two of us met last night for a drink, we REALLY REALLY would love a supper club in this area...

Lizbet the end of the month would be nice, both dollymum and I are definates....anyoen else in the north suffolk south norfolk area please get in touch....

I am new as well and had a lovely evening last night meeting dollymum and watching the snow falling..

yes it might be daunting meetign total strangers but it could be really enjoyable........

as the weather and light night gather pace, we could even combine two areas, like meet in Norwich wich is reasonable accesible for everyone..

so please if you are reading this and thinking oh I would like to try that but am not sure, please give us a try..

Jacqueline

Hi Dollymum,

I would have perhaps have gone but it will take me about 2 hours to get there I'm afraid, so it seems a long way for what is relatively a fairly short time.

I'd love to meet up though so perhaps if next time we could meet a bit more to the North West them I'd sure that i could make it. I'm meeting up on friday with some of the others so I'll mention perhaps us all trying to arrange a meet somewhere between the two groups - that would be great!

Thanks Alison x

Hi Gemini

Thats the problem Dolly and I had with your Norfolk one, it was approx a 2 hour drive from here, I did suggest somewhere central, perhaps Norwich for a longer meeting, but didnt get any response....

Dolly would you like picked up?

Doly and I spoke about this last week Gemini and thought Wells would be brilliant in the spring or summer, lighter nights and it doesnt take as long as it does in the dark...

So at the moment we have 3 for saturday, any more?

have a good time on friday Gemini

Hi Jacqui and Dollymum, If it is ok with you The Five Bells which is on the Southwold Road (bear left off A12 before the factory shop) on Southwold Road and it is about half a mile on the right, 12.30 would suit me if ok with you? Southwold if last Saturday is anything to go by was very busy and finding a table in any of the establishments could be a problem!. Liz

Thanks Jacqui, have a good time on Saturday to everybody too!

Yes Wells or Norwich would be great later on...maybe after this we could have a combined thread if that helps to arrange something?

Cheers Alison

Hi Liz

You know I have driven past that place loads of times and kept saying I must go there one of these days, but the car heads straight for Southwold...lol

Ok 12.30 it is. Dolly if you read this email me if you want picking up??

Liz if you want my mobile number pm me and I will give you it.... Look forward to it....

Alison then next time you are going to the Bell I will definately come, hope you ahve a lovely time on Friday, Wells is a must for the summer and Norwich would be good for a joint meet...

would a joint thread not cause confusion.... if it was like friday for example, or us on saturday? but do think a joint thread for combined norfolk/suffolk hey we might even get some from Essex is a great idea.

Hi Jacqueline and Lizbet,
Really sorry but I cannot be there after all. It was always going to be a bit tight for me and I've realised I won't make it.
Maybe next time? Sorry again.
