Safetox - have you tried it?
      #295167 - 03/01/2009 14:51

I've just seen an advert for Safetox - it's a device that you wear around your forehead, and it claims to make you look younger, get rid of lines and so on. I'm so tempted to try it, but I don't want to spend the money only to be disappointed. There's a money-back guarantee, but even so - I don't want to look my physical age any more!
Has anyone tried it, and if so did it work for you??

Ta!

Hi BC
I was looking at this too, so will be interested in any replies, no sure we're going to get any/many though, its pricy & you need to buy consumables with it. I don't have any "wrinkles" as such but could use a freshening & don't fancy a face lift!

For heavens sake ladies, be who you are and be proud!! Wrinkles, schminkles!! We have history, we are interesting, we do not have to look younger than we are. We are attractive inside AND out. Don't get brainwashed into feeling less than ...
One of the things I hate about magazines for "women of a certain age" is that we are supposed to want to be different to who we are. Age is a stage and laughter lines just prove we laugh. We are a long time dead, let's enjoy it while we're here. Sorry this sounds like a real rant, but I just hate that we put ourselves under pressure in this way.
I know my surname is Scripture but this is the first time I've been caught sermonising = sorry xxxx

LOL Sue, I love a good rant. I'm not putting myself under pressure at all, don't need to not brainwashed either. I am who I am, schminkles or not! I quite enjoy the whole beauty lark, creams, perfumes, etc, even though I know there is no magic potion or silver bullett

I love schminkles. I just made it up and it made me smile. From now on I have schminkles!!!! I love all the perfume and girly make up too. Just hate it when it's used against us.

Hey - all I want to do is look how I feel inside! The outside is starting to overtake my real age - which to me is not good!

it's a personal thing :-)
