Hi Appleblossom,

Your idea of walking is certainly the same as mine! I don't really tend to walk much at all these day, except with the dogs. Would be lovely to meet nice people and absorb some picturesque scenery along the way. Goes without saying that a stop off for a drink and a bite to eat has to be factored into the itinerary.

Weekends are good for me mostly, though an evening in the lighter months would be lovely too. We could have dinner as our final destination at a country pub maybe in the summer months?

That weekend you've suggested I can't make unfortunately as I have my mum staying that weekend. But perhaps we can get a few dates and ideas of places from everyone and decide over your idea of coffee in York?

Thanks
Kim

Hi,
I've just joined the forum and live in Thorpe Willoughby near Selby. I'd love to have someone to go for walks with if there is anyone close by.

Sherburn in Elmet is only just down the road, if you're still interested, Lesley?

I'm not a "real" walker, just like to get a little bit of exercise and enjoy the fresh air and some company, by the way.

Karen

Hi

I too am new to the forum and live in Cookridge but would be interested in meeting up for a walk/fresh air/company sometime. I cannot find a group centred around NW Leeds where I live but happy to travel anywhere.

Linda
