Simple Abundance
      #291222 - 30/12/2008 09:19

I read this book every year, anyone want to join me? It's in a diary format and can be dipped in and out of at leisure. It's not a story, it's a way of life!

Simple Abundance, a Daybook of Comfort and Joy by Sarah ban Breathnach

Click on the arrows next to the page edges, you can read up to Jan 6th.

It's a tad treacly, but I love it! It discusses beauty, harmony, order, simplicity allsorts of things and it's a bit sickly sweet - did I warn you about that already - and very American. Not that that's bad obviously.

Both her books are on Amazon...I'm still tempted by the Romance one you mentioned yesterday, Mrs T. All part of the move towards simplicity, eh?

Very much so Ash! Romancing the Ordinary is just lovely if like me you get simple pleasures from crisp, cotton sheets and a hot chocolate on a frosty morning. She has a few recipes in it too. I'd hate to spend your money for you though
