ARTHRITIS
      #290668 - 29/12/2008 17:06

I came across a book some time ago that I had every intention of reading from cover to cover. Then I changed the rooms round, did a bit of conversion, and lost the book.

It is called ' Treating Arthritis the drug free way'. Written by a nurse who has since passed away - an age thing, not arthritis.
Her daughter who is also a nurse is carrying on her work somewhere in the North of England.
She recommends a cider vinegar and other things.

I am going to give it a serious try and would be very interesed in any of you ladies who do try too.

Hi Patdock, I have this book, it's by someone called Margaret but I've forgotten her other name. I did start drinking the cider vinegar and honey but kind of went off the rails and didn't stick to it. I've been on all sorts of drugs with disastrous side affects over the last couple of years and now not allowed to take anything except strong anti-flams which mess up my stomach. I have been drinking a lot of green tea and I think it's helping. The best one for least bitter taste is a supermarket own brand beginning with S, think Jamie Oliver on TV ads and you'll know the one I mean (not sure if I'm allowed to name it on here as i'm new). What type of arthritis do you have?
