I was given a Jo Malone cologne collection with six different fragrances (bliss) and a set of bath soaps in Nectarine Blossom and Honey from OH. It was such a lovely surprise I clapped my hands in delight. I also got a Crabtree and Evelyn hand and foot care set, and I'm afraid I was glad to get that too. Not quite as glamourous as the Jo Malone, but very handy.

My lovely 15 yr old son brought me a set of Dior perfumes which he got gift wrapped in the shop, so it looked so beautiful I didn't want to unwrap it. It cost him 2 weeks of his paperround wages. Beautiful D got me some body shop bath bombs and some glitter eye liner - both things which I'm sure she will "borrow".

I received some lovely beauty goodies this year and I shall savour every minute of using them. Like CheshireCat, I had Sanctuary bath foam and body scrub, a Nina Ricci 'Nina' perfume/body cream/bath gel set, a Crabtree & Evelyn hand doctor set and some Occitaine hand cream, which is so rich and decadent I can barely bring myself to use it!

Anner06 - how wonderful of your son. Obviously is going to be one of those men who has the instinct for buying the right gift and making it look good. Some girl is going to be very lucky.
Well ladies looks like we all did well in the beauty products pressies. We are all going to be spending the next few weeks in the bath, pampering ourselves and looking absolutely gorgeous.

I got some Chanel Allure perfume from OH, and I didn't even know he had bought it!! Won't happen again as it is the first time in 33 years! Also got Clinique makeup from mymother even though I had to buy it!

Hi Everyone,
Well, initially before Christmas, I had my lovely surprise gift from my Secret Santa, which was a selection of Japanese Bath Products, well pleased with that gift.
I also received some Black Orchid by Tom Ford, I am thrilled with this as I have wanted it for such a long time, its quite difficult to find in the UK, Fushcia put me on to that perfume. My son bought me some Shalimar, with bath products also, so all in all I was more than happy.

Didnt everyone do well!
I got money too so I am going to the Loccitane and Molton Brown sales.
By the way I got such a bargain in Boots,their NO7 Cosmetic beauty case which they bring out each year was £70 and it said half proce on the shelf so I thought it was £35 but when I got to the till she quoted me £17.10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was delighted!!!
What a bargain!

I got some Agent Provocateur body cream...yummy, my favourite! I already have the perfume so I'll be able to layer the scents for max impact!
I also had some Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream...odd stuff and I'm still getting my head round it! Anyone any experience of it...actually I think that's going to be a new post....

I always stock on on Badedas - they reduce the stuff in Xmas wrapping to less than half price after Xmas

Hello from a newbie, my daughter bought me a No 7 case full of all of their gorgous range, some full sizes and some trial sizes, the case is black sequins, the lid opens to reveal a mirror and lotions and potions, there is a drawer with more goodies in it and a toweling headband, it's truly luxourious and was advertised on TV for £23.00 instead of the usuall £60, they went like hot cakes the next day and I was very lucky to get one.

I got a box of 6 Jo Malone perfumes - sounds like the same one Sella Vee got - was really chuffed with it as I love Jo Malone stuff but it is sooo expensive. Couldn't believe that OH had gone to the trouble of either going to the Jo Malone shop in London or got someone to order it online (he doesn't do online shopping) - as he's not normally very organised or innovative with Xmas gifts. Then of course after a drink or two on Xmas day he confessed he bought it on a flight back from Jamaica when on a recent business trip....!!
But I am absolutely thrilled with it. I also got some talc from my mother in law. I can't remember the last time I used talc!!

Rungirl, we can do fragrance combining now! I'm thrilled with mine too. OH was working in London and found a Jo Malone shop just off Bond Street, Apparently the evening he went shopping they had artificial snow falling on Bond Sreet, and the Salvation Army Band playing. I want to go next year!

I was lucky as well, got two Jo Malone gifts, one the fragrance set and another skin care one. Think I know why, cos there is shop in Guilford - we went there to buy gifts for my daughter in laws, thought he was paying a lot of attention !! Also got favorite perfume Femme - Rochas,well spotted on my dressing table ( lol) and Estee Lauder Sensual - intense - cos I am !!!
3 guys who I hope I can hang on to for a bit longer

Dior's 'Miss Dior Cherie', currently my favourite perfume and some M&S hand and body lotion from their Aloe Vera range, very nice.
