Staple them to a long piece of satin [festive colour] or tartan ribbon and hang it from floor to ceiling. [think that should really say ceiling to floor!] Keeps them all in one place!

I display mine all up the side of the stairs on the outside of the frame, with a bit of blue tac. Perfect.

I do the same as Lizzietinribs, but without the ribbon. I jiust staple on to another and hang on the walls in the hallway.

A friend paper-clips hers on to ribbons nailed into the top edge of the doors in her hall. Lacking doors, we put ours on string round the ceiling, looks festive but leaves nail holes in the walls.

I don't display them all. now. I just put up family ones and special ones. The rest stay in a pile.
A friend sellotapes Christmas wrapping paper to each side of a door and sellotapes the cards to that. Then it's easy to remove them, 'cos they just come down with the paper. You have to choose tasteful paper though!

I hang mine on fine twine all around the rooms, that way they don't get damaged, then when the 'Season' is over, I take them down, remove the backs,(The part that has been written on)and pass the rest onto to my friend, who collects them for the Breast Cancer Charity.
I also save all the stamps as another friend collects those for Charity as well.

I fear staplegun comes into its own again, Bluebella. If you haven't got one, you should pop it in your birthday list (too late for Christmas now I think). They are soooo useful I don't know how anyone manages without one.
Or try drawing pins?

Ooooh, not sure about making holes in things! We do have a christmas card tree, a really good one from a garden centre so will probably stick with that. It's good but you can't see all the cards and some of them have such lovely pictures.
Loo - I think you're a bit too fond of that staple gun!

You can use your staple gun in the top of the door too Bluebella.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Living in a small town I couldnt get very much, but.... what I have ended up doing is buying 4 packs of 4M long 25mm wide ribbon from tesco, the kind with fine wire in the edges and stringing 1 bit across between my wall lights and the other 2 bits hanging down my long velvet curtains. I then papercliped the cards to the ribbon. Looks pretty good too.
