I have a serious amount of stuff to do today so I'm putting it all down here in the hope that someone will shove me off the laptop and into action.
Put a load of laundry on
Write Christmas cards
Address and stamp cards
Wrap presents
Buy a Christmas tree
Post blessed Christmas cards
Get down decorations from garage - DH
Clean bathrooms - as per today's Twiddle
Declutter dining room and re-organise
Put decorations up in dining room and close the door until Christmas day!
Check in to the forum periodically and stay full of tea!
Anyone else got a to-do list today?

Think you need a time table Mrs. T. i.e. jobs to be done before you stop for coffee at 11.00. Sit down with coffee and W&H Forum. Then jobs to be done before lunch. After lunch coffee with W&H Forum. etc. Then you won't be on here all day like I am, and will get some of your jobs done. Good luck

You been doing too much twiddling to be ready for Christmas!
Whereas I'm a Minxender, but I've done it all...just have the food shop to do on Monday.

Well I knew that Cuppy's gang would come to no good in the end!

Now going out for lunch with friends, as my last birthday treat!

Take heart,for I am finishing my cards as well,after all,one must keep house,mustn't one. lol
So,laundry on first,then write, address,stamp and post cards
It is the last day for posting 2nd class today,so make the cards a priority,then after posting,pick up tree,presuming it is real,cut off bottom half to three-quarters off an inch,stand in bucket of water in garage. Get decorations down,clean bathrooms,as per daily twiddle,sort out dining room,put up decorations,and finaly pour out glass of wine and sit down with DH,who of course will help you to wrap presents.
Job done.
Leave tree until tomorrow if standing in water.
Off soon to join Chickadee and Mayday for a pre-Christmas Lunch.

Oh Mrs T...you've discovered my well kept secret! I DO actually twiddle on a regular basis...I'm very neat and tidy by nature..I can't bear a mess!
I'm ahead of you on the bathroom front I'm pleased to say...but otherwise your tips are very handy!
Please don't tell any of the others I secretly twiddle...I'm really definitely a minx....

Mrs Twiddle, I'm exhausted just reading this.
My list for today read
Take d. to orthodontist.
Have lunch with Mayday and Annemari.
check Forum (briefly)
Go to d's Christmas concert.
I've now done all but the last of these - but that's where I'm going now.
Have a good evening relaxing after after all that hard twiddling!

Done some. Still need to post cards - must do tomorrow and still need to do ironing. Not going to carol concert as both kids off school today with this cold/flu virus

Mrs Twiddle,
Did more socialising today, met forum friend in town, had lovely time, by the time I got home, it was far too late to start twiddling, so I sat down, had a cold drink, and finished reading my W@H magazine.
Twiddling to recommence tomorrow sharp at nine.
