Twiddle's Twenty! Thurs 18th
      #283315 - 18/12/2008 10:07

Anyone bored with this yet? I'll plod on until Friday then we'll have a break until New Year when we're going into declutter frenzy room-by-room

So, for today let's get caught up with a thorough bathroom clean a week before Christmas Shower scrubbing, bath scrubbing, basin scrubbing and loo scrubbing.

Put replacement soaps, shampoo, deo, conditioner, loo paper and other bathroom goodies on your shopping list and then guess what?...

Have a cup of tea ...

...then we get to vacuum and wash the bathroom floor!!

Go on, admit it, you love Twiddling

Feel free to pass on any tips you have for cleaning the bathroom.

I use a squeegee after using the shower because I hate scrubbing the shower glass. Also, E-cloths are fab in the bathroom.

Yippee, I'm actually ahead on today's twiddle. Heard all sorts of odd noises coming from the bathroom yesterday evening so went upstairs to investigate and found OH had decided to take a scrubbing brush into the shower with him and was giving it a good scrub down before cleaning himself! I cleaned the tiles this morning so not much left to do (I've got OH tagged for cleaning the bath and loo).

If the shower screen's looking a bit cloudy I wait until it's dry and then use windolene (the pink stuff) to give it a good polish.

I'm looking forward to the de-clutter in the new year - the spare room's really, really going to need it. I've not filed the bills and and statements for a couple of months (been too busy with other things) so have piles of paper (also have piles of mending and ironing that have to be done this week) so being pointed in the right direction will hopefully get me back on track.

I've got my brother and Nephew coming for the weekend so this is a good twiddle for me. I like to give the bathroom an extra special go, before guests arrive, and as you suggest Mrs. Twiddle, new soap etc.

Oooh! Are we allowed next week off? That's great. I will be too busy organising food and laying tables. It'll give Brandy Queen a break too. She is soooooooooo keen on your Twiddles Mrs. T.

I got up this morning and stripped the bed then tackled the bathroom BEFORE I logged on to the Forum so am feeling very pleased with myself. I'm taking the rest of the day off because it's my birthday and I'm off to get my hair done at 4.30. Looking forward to the de cluttering in the New Year, I might get started over the Christmas holidays if thats OK as my garage is a disgrace and OH promised to help clear it while he is off.
