Matching Underwear
      #280350 - 15/12/2008 15:10

Hello Ladies

Do you always wear on a daily basis matching co-ordinating underwear ???

Or do you like me, wear whatever comes first out of the drawer lol

Sue x

99% of the time it's matching, although I may occasionally buck the trend for one reason or another.

Does matching muddy beige count??
Sorry, I am exaggerating slightly!
Would love to do matching, but worry about coloured bras showing through blouse, so end up with 'flesh-tone' which is practical but hardly glamorous. How do you ladies get round that one?

Nah, whatever comes out of drawer first, lately have been opting for 'comfies' and left flimsier ones to the back of the drawer - oh dear, I'm getting old....

I'd love to be a person who bothered about matching up but then you'd have to have more knickers than bras as you surely don't change your bra everyday??!! Nobody sees them either apart from OH and I'm not encouraging him in that department lately as he's in bad books.

Not usually a problem in the winter as dont seem to wear see through shirts unless its a party or similar....then it would be matching flesh coloured. In the Summer usually stick with light colours but always matching, Im afraid.

My bra always matches my top and my knickers always match what I'm wearing on my bottom half...

Does that make sense???

I always buy bra and knickers to match. I am afraid it is a religion with me. In the summer with skimpy tops I am afraid I have to say there is no bra!!!!!! So the knickers match the bottom.

What a hussy eh..............

I try to. But sometimes it's dark top and light trousers, or vice versa, so bra and pants have to fit in with that. And I do like natural coloured bras under most tops.

I try and buy well fitting bras, and would prefer a decent bra and unmatched knickers to a matching but unflattering set.

And knickers need to be discreet - no VPL, and not a thong. I love glam pants!

So usually it's a well-fitting dicreeet bra, with co-ordinating, if not matching, posh knickers.

Matching undies - as pretty as possible, but being well endowed hard to get and very expensive.

Always buy same amount of knicks and bras, am I the only one who doesn't wear a bra more than once??

Oh right that's it....New Year, new undies!!! You lot have put me to shame....trouble is I don't tend to bother putting anything pretty on my body (under clothes) anymore because it's so lumpy and bumpy now and I hate it so I don't see the point. I'm only a size 12/14 but was a size 10 and suffer from 'everything looks okay if you're a size 10' syndrome!

JustJulesy - I dont think I was ever a size 10 - poss when I was 10 lol

Lot biiger than you are but right undies make you look better and feel better, no magic undies for me, like to look nice when I take my clothes off - well as nice as a voluptuous lady can.

Whats inside is attractive and just smile. lol

Absolutely NO, GoingBackwords, wouldn't dream of wearing a bra twice - all that daily grime - yuck! Like you I'm well endowed - could give Jordan a run for her money and mine are natural. It infuriates me that manufacturers and retailers don't cater for us - apart from Bravissimo and even they fall short in the matching stakes. Can't believe it costs £35 upwards for a little extra piece of fabric. It's a con. And as for matching pants - you might as well dream - I need to take out a new mortgage to buy a new set of underwear and you know how hard they are to get!

Always matching ,but find it hard to get the coloured cotton knix that I have to wear! Why, oh why are all the really beautiful matching sets all horrid synthetics and covered in scratchy lace????

For anyone well endowed I also recommend Freya - I find their bras fit really well and are very pretty.

I do wear a bra more than once - I have to say I never thought it unusual until I read this thread....!

I always buy one bra and two matching pairs of briefs, and I wear the bra twice before washing. The main reason is that I think washing ruins undies so I try to keep them for longer by using the top half twice. So sue me! x
