Re: FLABULESS FORUMERS...........AFTER CHRISTMAS......... [Re: Twiddledout]

5th for me please.............and I think it is a good idea to start at 1 again. Then people like me don't get confused.............bad enough trying to lose weight without trying to remember what no we are on!!!

Mrs T - I am starting excercise on Jan 13th. Not from choice but through the coronary rehab programme. So it will be a double wammy for me......hopefully I will lose some weight and make my heart pump more (less time in hosp then). I am also DETERMINED to go out in evening with my doggy for a nice walk after dinner. Build up the steps on my pedometer.

Like you I want to lose a stone.......

Of course you can join in, Mrs T. You need a copy of the book "I can make you Thin" by a well known hypnotist referred to hereafter as PMK. It comes with a CD, and by listening to that, and reading the book, and supporting each other on here, some of us have lost quite a bit of weight. Our leader is mjm, and we PM her our weights every other Monday, and the following day she posts how much we have lost or gained over the fortnight.

We started on DAY 1 (cos we like to be original ) and we are now on DAY 273, but new people join in all the time. All are welcome.

supersarah, I hope this answers your question too.

The next weigh day is January 5th 2009.

Ah, ok. I'll just do the bits I can without the book if that's ok. I don't actually want to 'diet' per se. Just make myself accountable. Hopefully I can do that here!

Thanks for explaining!

Oh no you can't! . The Flabulous Forumers are PMK followers. There was another group that was doing regular weight loss (for want of a better word) but I think it stopped.

Anyway, with PMK you don't go on a diet, you change your eating habits, but no food is forbidden. I can really recommend the system (and no, I'm not on commission!).

But I don't like him

I'll weigh myself and exercise alone then, I'll slope off into a corner and look sad and left out

Then I'll be so sad I'll need to comfort eat and I can blame you lot for being fat again

Hi Mrs Twiddle,

Please come join us, nobody likes him at first but after he's been wispering in your ear a few times - he becomes stangely attractive and his method DOES WORK.

Who cares ....as long as it works.
What do you have to do to join ? Do we have to tell you our starting weights or just how much we lose each week

Mrs T, you don't have to marry him! Just read the book and listen to the CD. We're a friendly bunch really. The group was set up nine months ago for people who wanted to follow the PMK system - that's the point of the Flabulous Forumers.

gilley, I agree his method does work, but I'm not sure that he becomes strangely attractive lol!

Sonata and Polly55, if you read what I've written above, under Thimble's picture of an elephant, it tells you what to do.

He's here but in a bad way. His spine is torn and edges dogeared (Just about sums him up then LOL).I will use him until his alter ego arrives.
