Any ideas for..............
      #273353 - 08/12/2008 16:11

my sixteen year old daughter's Christmas? Her letter to Santa says - books, girly ones NOTHING sad. She reads avidly, but exam pressure means she just wants light stuff for pleasure just now. Thanks for any ideas

Hi Anne

Try the twilight series, they're fab and a film has just been made of the first book, also worth a read is the inkheart series, also just been made into a film - the twilight ones are more girly! Heres some links to the waterstones site - but you can get them anywhere

Thanks Jennifer, I'll have a look tonight. She quite likes the chic lit stuff so any ideas on that welcome - its not my scene except for on the beach, which from Scotland at the moment seems like outer space
