My new straighteners arrived on Thursday - they are pencil thin and great!

My experience with GHDs was not a good one. I was bought some GHDs a couple of Christmassies ago, and they literally went up in flames, took them back to the hairdressers where my OH bought them, and she told me, two or three other customers had the same thing happen to them.
We were possibly just very unlucky, but now use Braun's Precision Liner straighteners, really pleased with them, and nowhere near as expensive.

Plasmo - I didn't get GHD's in the end - they are made by Wahl - very impressed so far. xx
