Southampton/ Bournmouth area Sunday Walk and Lunch 7th Dec Ashurst
      #262452 - 24/11/2008 15:32

Hi everyone,

We have another virtuous walk and luscious lunch planned for Sunday 7th December.

We thought a nice leisurly tromp through the New Forest this time.

We are doing the Busketts Lawn Inclosure at Woodlands near Ashurst.

Ordnance Survey maps - Landranger 196 (solent and Isle of white) or Outdoor Leisure 22 (New Forest)

Walk No: 6 in the Pathfinder guide - Hampshire and New Forest Walks - described as a short and easy Christmas Tree walk for the winter on the Easten side of The New Forest

The walk is 3.5 miles long (about 2 hours) and we are meeting at 11am in the Forestry Commission's Busketts Wood carpark - can't miss it, the only one there.

Everyone is welcome, please join us, we don't go on a mamouth route march - its just a pleasant stroll.

Lots of laughs and chit chat with a great lunch at the end of it.

Just post on the Forum that you are interested and I will pm you with more details etc.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Gilley x

Hi everyone

Am looking forward to the next walk and lunch on the 7th. I have been round that way before, and it can be a bit muddy so make sure you've got decent footwear!

See you there

Sue x
