Good morning girls, I hope you have all had a great weekend, the forum fest was enjoyed by all, and we missed you over the weekend.
Today is the day where we all re-group, get our heads together again, and look forward to the following two weeks.
I saw PMK on QVC over the weekend, and listening to him and people who called into the show, was brilliant, how motivated they all are, and the feeling of empowerment was great.
The one thing that stuck in my mind was when PMK said....
"If you are finding this system difficult, then you are doing it wrong!"
So girls, relax, your not on a diet, follow the rules, and you WILL lose weight!
Good luck with the weigh in today, and have a great day.

Thanks mjm
I have pm'd you my weight.
You are right about the pmk system, it is far more relaxed then any weightloss regime I have ever been on.
I am not jumping on the scales every morning and the needle diciding what type of day I am going to have.
Its the bit that nothing is banned, nothing is a naughty food, this I find has removed the guilty feelings that I use to have and if I succumed to bisciuts ect in the past I would say sod it and eat the whole pack.
Now I know that if I want five mars bars (?) I can have them as long as I enjoy them - I find I am quite happy with one
Its is not fast or instant but it does work.
I am still getting on with my life, when in the past I have always been waiting until the end of the diet to get on with things.
Crumbs,(lol) I do go on a bit don't I, but you know what I mean
xx

Hi mjm,
I'll post you my weight in a minute, but basically to my relief I don't think it has changed. I did not stick to the rules last week and gave in to cravings, culminating in eating a bag of fruit pastilles. I did enjoy them though, and I didn't feel bad afterwards, so perhpas it was OK!
I'm going to find some exercises I can do sitting down as I can't swim yet and I think it might be a bit soon for the exercise bike.
And I will carry on making time to listen to the CD - I fell asleep with it yesterday afternoon - hope it still works even if I'm dead to the world.
good luck everyone!

Morning mjm, gilley and chick. I am glad you enjoyed your forum fest, will we see some pics I hope so. I have stayed the same. I cannot believe it after what I have eaten, I don't eat between meals ( a first for me) because I eat what I want at my meal times.I am looking forward to the next two weeks I dont think I am listening to my CD enough so that has to change. The fair is in Hull this week I don't go but my friend next door brought me back a goody bag, coconut, toffee apple, brandysnap and candyfloss. I tried the candyfloss but did not eat it all, was too sweet but it did take me back to my childhood. I hope you have done ok with your weigh in.I am looking forward to seeing the results. I have just got back from my walk in the park with Amber, we walked a lot at the weekend with OH it's doing him the world of good also. have a great day everyone xx

Hi linby, well done for staying the same, its really easy to put weight back on, but you havent, so that in itself requires effort on your part, dont be down about it, or give up the good work, we need you on the daily threads to keep us going.
Enjoy your quality time with your OH and Amber walking together, special times!

I've eased into the pmk system but do need to be more motivated to do more exercise. I did do some heavy gardening at the weekend though so achieved something. I need to realise that being a member of a health club doesn't do any good unless I use it! Good luck with the weigh in everyone. Dec

Afternoon ladies!
FF was fantastic, is was so lovely to put faces to names. I didn't get to eat too much there - one of the positives of being a coeliac is that I can't eat cake I think I may have made up for it with the red wine though, lol.
So far, I have not listened to PMKs CD but I intend to start this weekend. I shall have to work out a way to listen without OH and son being around, which won't be easy. But where there's a will there's a way.
Gilley, you're not going on - you're speaking a lot of sense. I well remember those feelings and it is so good not to have to think about food in that way anymore.
MJM I'm away for the weekend again in two weeks!!! So I shall probably send you my weight on the Friday.
Have a lovely day everyone
