Is anyone there?
You can't all be on holiday - oohh, I feel like nolly no-mates.
So talking of holidays - I think as we are all slowly getting into the pmk zone and making us all proud, I think we deserve a treat don't you?
How about next spring to congratulate ourselves when we are all slim and lovely - I think we should consider meeting for a weekend at a lovely hotel/spa - we could choose a central spot in the country to us all.
How about that then?
If nobody answers, I'll know that you have all gone away without me - sob sob

Gilley, I'm here! Don't cry! I had trouble getting not only onto the Forum earlier, but even onto Google - thought perhaps the financial meltdown was affecting the world Wide web!
I love the idea of meeting at a spa, but not sure how the finances will be looking next spring...
Meanwhile, I completely lost the plot at lunchtime - a nice tuna and lettuce sandwich - and then two of the crumpets OH bought me...with buttre and jam! OH hasn't read pmk, and is a firm believer in bringing treats as a way of helping the post operative recovery. And I am too feeble to make a stand. But I have managed half an hour in the garden potting up my gernaiums, so perhpas that will have burnt off a few cals. I am really longing to be able to get back exercising again - I notice the difference from not being able to do anything. Not looking forward to weighing in!

Hi Chick
At this currant time I am wishfull thinking but it would be nice - hey maybe we should have a sit in at mjm's - she is our leader after all LOL.
I hope you had real butter on your crumpet, I have decided if I am trying to eat in a controlled way - then the food must always be real and deilicous.
Anyway, you are recovering and everyone knows you must keep your strength up - so let the OH spoil you.
You are not on a diet remember and real eating is all about ups and downs.
Take care of yourself

Hi Gilley, Just popped on to the pc to have a short 30mins before resuming teaching at home for another hour and a half. Sadly I am not on holiday, but half term is coming soon and I will be ready for that. Hoping to be down in the New Forest, as I have a sister who lives there.I lived in Chandler's Ford until got married 34 years ago. is that TMI?
Real life is sooo busy and it is good to sit down and have a break and a chat. Hi Chick, enjoy being looked after and get well soon.

Oh silly me, I forgot the important bit. It would be fun to meet at a spa as I can never find anyone willing to shell out. Keep me posted.

Yes it was real butter gilley - you are quite right, food should be delicious. Anyway, that will be my treat for today.
when it was my d's 16th birthday I asked her what she wanted to do and she opted for a day at a spa with me - I thought that was really sweet! It's also how I came to join the Forum, as I bought a W&H to take with me!
So, may be one day ...I'll have to start saving up now though! We are so far apart, especially mjm up there in the far north and the girls on the continent!

A Spa Fest sounds wonderful. Barn Owl and I have a Spa day in Cardiff every three or four months. Its a brilliant way to have a good chat and catch up in lovely surroundings, and to be pampered! where shall we go ladies and when? xx
