I have never tried it and don't know anything about it, but it probably does work , short term, most diets do.I would worry that once you started eating normally the weight would go back on.

Hi Sharond

I lost 3 stone on the Cambridge and can honestly say it is very hard work. The only way that I have managed to keep it off is to eat fairly healthy foods and return to it for a day or two if I've put around 4lbs back on. Give it a try and good luck.

Iris

Hi Sharond,
I lost 2 stone in around 6 weeks a few years a go. It is hard work the first few weeks but the weight does drop off quickly. It has changed since I did it. I just had shakes or bars. I think they have soups and food now. If you want a quick fix it works but I'm not sure its the best way to lose weight. I kept the weight off for over 2 years until I fell pregnant. It is expensive but it was the only food I had so it worked out ok financially.
If you are going to give it a go then good luck. Drink lots of water and I also had a sachet of Fybogel a day (for obvious reasons!).

Hi Sharond
I am just starting Sole Source on Cambridge (lost 2 stone 2 years ago, it has stayed off ;0) now want to lose about 10lbs before Christmas. So can slip into a dress size smaller and look cool ;0).
It is hard the first few days then it is FANTASTIC renewed energy and you are not hungry. Very important to drink at least 4 pints water and take it easy with exercise for the first 2 weeks then bring it in gently.
My OH has used it recently and has had tremendous result and is now big fan.
Good luck
Jane
