Don't mind giving it a go - although it tends to take me a while to go through a book due to time - usually have to have my head in dissertations etc....not quite sooo exciting. Any other takers? what kind of books do you like?

Hi Sar
I am a bit of a bookworm so like most books enjoy Jodie Picoult and murder mysteries. Believe it or not seem to have less ti.me for reading since gave up full time work.
Can try to get group going if can get one or two more interested. I will probably cu soon as belong L supper club too!

Hi

I love my books, but have phases in amount of time available to read them! I seem to read authors in phases - love Isabel Allande, Maya Angelou, J G Ballard, Hussani (think that is his name), amongst many others - so quite a variety. Have also read a number of recommendations from W and H - some excellent choices as a rule.

Hopefully the book 'club' will pick up - otherwise i shall look forward to the supper club.
See you soon either way

Take care

Sarah

Hi Sar
No luck with extra members so far. Do you know anyone who might be interested? I was in a book club in Burton but really the members hadnt time to read and it became a drinking club1 Not that I dont like a drink. Would you like to meet up ?
All the best
Cia

Sorry - don't know very many people at all around here - hence willingness to join walking, lunch, books clubs etc!

Yes would be good to meet up - when suits best. I can make most evenings and daytimes at the weekend. Just finished an enchanting book called Music and Silence - had to stop myself peeking alook at the end!

Hopefully see you soon.

Sar
