Hi everyone,
I am not feeling very inspired today - so hope that if I post, you will send some inspiration my way! I am feeling very dozey and sleepy, in spite of having had a very good night's sleep - I think I must still be a bit anaesthetised!
I have not eaten much this week, as my appetite has been small (and I've been asleep a lot, and even I can't eat in my sleep!) But I have been pretty inactive.
I know I don't drink enough water - and perhaps more fluid will help me to wake up a bit! I have also read that drinking tea is as good for you as drinking water...

So I shall go and put the kettle on!

Hi Chickadee and everyone!
Chick - your body is telling you to rest! I felt very lethargic for a couple of days after my sedation and it wasn't even a general! You are right about fluids - I know I don't drink enough water. Tea is just as good as long as it isn't caffeine loaded - so get that kettle on! Hope you're feeling better soon!
Girls, this will be my last post for a bit as I'm off on holiday tomorrow! Can't wait to get out of the office tonight! Don't think I'll get a chance to go on the computer again today, what with all the packing etc. Plus I've got to smuggle mjm into the luggage somehow!
So please send me positive vibes - I'll need them! - and stay positive all of you. Catch you in a week or so!

Good afternoon chick and Ally.
Sorry to hear your feeling abit low chick, Ally is right, listen to what your bodies telling you, dont fight it, it will use up too much energy.
We will have a wonderful time together Ally, just dont forget to let me out of the boot!
Unfortunitely I dont like tea, I was put off it when I was little, and have never been able to drink the sort you put milk in. I do have a herbal tea now and again, but have yet to find one that I really like.

It makes me feel better just knowing you lot are there! Ally, have a wonderful holiday. mjm, you can only go if you take a laptop - you can post from the boot of the car! Linby, I am looking forward to my knees being better so that I can walk my dog too - it sounds as if you get a great deal of joy from your time with Amber; I'm so glad. Will try the water in a wine glass trick!
Now I'm going to go and snooze.
Linby, looks like it will only be you and me left tomorrow - everyone else will be on holiday, at York, in Edinburgh, or in mjm's case, all four! I won't be on here until after my interview, by which time I'll be a nervous wreck, so will rely on you for inspiration!

I read in the April issue of W&H this week (slow reader) that warm water is better than cold for you as it does the same thing that warm water washing grease off a plate would do...the cold water would congeal any fat in your system and make it solid whereas warm water helps it dissolve...worth bearing in mind.
depends if you have sugar in your tea! why not get herbal teas.

No sugar, and yes I like herbal teas, especially mint and fennel. Good for the digestion too!
Thanks for staying home with me Linby!!!

Hi all
Better late than never! I like to drink sparkling water when i am at home, i have a large glass with ice and lemon/lime and pretend its a gin and tonic. lol does the trick.
I am not a big water/juice lover, much prefering tea, but i do like sparkling water, so worth a try.
