Unreadable text
      #215660 - 07/10/2008 23:20

Have just bought the November issue and love the look generally but there are several chunks of text in Twiggy's interview that I can't read because it is red type on a dark grey background. I just can't read it, even with my reading glasses...the text on the paler background is great! I have a similar problem with other non-standard text and it does spoil articles sometimes.

Oh Poor you Ashbee. Did you see Twiggy on TV last night? It was a clothes swapping party. A bit bizarre I thought. ED thought the camerman must have been a 14 yr old on work experience, because it was all over the place.

I hate it when people think they are being funky by using coloured print on a coloured background because my eyesight is really good and I dont wear glasses but that even tests me. simple balck and white is cool enough!

I also can't stand black print on a dark page!! You can't read it can you? Please stop doing this.

I couldn't agree more. I couldn't read that article either and I gave up. Hope the editor takes note of this and doesn't try that again!!!

I agree, all too often I can't read the detail as it merges into the background. Some yellows are hard to read. I need to take my glasses off to read them. It's annoying, but it doesn't spoil my overall enjoyment of the magazine.
