Hi - I am new to the Forum & would love to know if there is a Walking Group in the Bath/Bradford-on-Avon area or anyone who would be interested in joining one?

Hello.
Welcome to the forum Marianzs. I'm quite new too, been here since August. I would be very interested in joining with you on a walk sometime. Hope a few other locals will see your post and respond. Look forward to arranging something in the not too distant future?

Hi, I've been out once with the Bristol group but depending on where you're thinking of walking may be able to join you.

Although I joined a few months ago, just got round to posting this weekend. I would also be interested in joining you, depending on when.

Hi everyone! Great to have your replies - now am not too sure how to reply or what to do next! Would welcome ideas & directon as it would be lovely to get some form of walking group going in the area with like minded people.

Hello Marianz. Perhaps to start off,and to accomodate everyone, it would be easier to do a kind of 'test run' on easy terrain taking in somewhere for refreshment! I'm only suggesting this as a way forward and to get to know people and the level or type of walking folk are interested in. What do you think of, for example, the canal walks around Bath and Bradford O A or perhaps the cycle path south of Bath towards Midsomer Norton?
Look forward hearing your thoughts anyone?

Thanks Lyndeloo - the bath Skyline Walk, although I've never actually done it (how sad is that & I live in Bath?!!-my girls both did it with their schools & enjoyed it!) would be a good one as it's central & then as you say for future walks we could find out what suits us all! Would welcome any other ideas & thoughts.

Don't really know the area well enough to know any walks - sorry, so they all sound fine to me!

Have you had any interest in a walking club in the Bath Bradford on Avon area. I have just lost alot of weight and am desperate for some physical exercise to ensure I keep the wight off, but would also like a social angle to it as well. Love top hear about a group.
