Lunch in Stratford on Avon?
      #212395 - 04/10/2008 14:47

Is anyone interested in meeting up occasionally for lunch in Stratford on Avon or nearby?
If so, please send me a pm and i will arrange something.
I appreciate there is a supper club fairly local but thought a lunch might suit some of you occasionally.

Hi seashell,

sunshinegirl and I are going to be in Stratford at the end of October to go to see David Tennant at the Shakespeare theatre.

We usually have a late lunch before heading off to the theatre, would that be any good?

Would you believe it, Mayday, our theatre trip is booked for 30th!

Perhaps we could all meet on another day? I can get the train easily from where I live. I would love to have a girly get together with you all.

Mayday, did you mean 'sod mange' or 'sod, mange'!

Hope it was the latter!! ;-)

I don't like to brag, (yes I do) but I've already seen him in 'Macbeth', now I'm going to see 'Loves Labours Lost'.

NOW you can say 'sod mange'!

LOL

Of course it was sod Mange!!!!! NOT! Would I say such a thing? My punctuation letting me down again! (don't let Chickadee know!) But yes I will say it now!! I have just not been 'on the ball' enough to get my booking in early!! Too many things going on and brain like a sieve! Never mind.....maybe we will get a lunch organised and you will have to 'do' as an attraction for going to Stratford!!!? Do you look like D.Tennant?!
I bet you could strut your stuff 'on the stage' from reading your posts!!!!

No, I haven't been scared off, just not been able to log on. Great response from you all. I will arrange a couple of dates to see which one is most suitable and let you know on here. Sorry, Dianej but it will be a weekday as i can't do weekends at the moment.
Looking forward to meeting you all.
