I am 48 years old and for the post month have been waking ever single night throwing my bedcovers off..... and sweating... not a lot...yuckie... I am fine through out the day.
As in the Marvin Gaye song ... What's going on...

I think you are caz001 I started about 46 and I have come out the other end now I am 55 next month, but I still have night sweats . I have to have my fan tower on most nights. A think a trip to your local menopause clinic is on the agenda they are so understanding and can illiminate all your worries. take care xx

Sounds like it Caz, I was 45ish and still have night sweats at 59! good luck..

pass the hot flush (or power surge as they say in America!) over here, I am usually freezing in bed at night once the heating has gone off & wear lovely pj's & sometimes a jumper to bed LOL!!

Caz001,
You are most definitely going through the menopause.
I hate to put a damper on the subject, but I still get hot sweats - AND IM 64!!! this is not the norm, might I add, but my GP says he has quite a few ladies even older.
Sorry to be so negative Caz.
