Now it is Day 186 it is time to treat yourself!
Please take 30 minutes for yourself today and choose one or more treats from the suggestion list below:
Take a walk in the park or woods to enjoy the autumn colours (if you live in a summer climate, just enjoy the sunshine
Have a relaxing bath with candles and music
Go window shopping and 'choose' new outfits for your flabulous figure
Buy a new lippy
Meet a friend for a coffee and a chat
Indulge yourself with some extra forum time
Foxie

Hi Foxie, you are either an early bird or a night owl
I love the suggestion - just what we all deserve.
I am going to go for a walk in the park and crunch and kick at those lovely Autumn leaves after lunch. I shall even take the rest of the bread to feed the swans.
Looking forward to it already
You did not say which treat you are giving yourself??

Hi Foxie, What a good idea! I have been having trouble with realising that a 'treat' doesn't have to be food, chocolate and/or wine!!! Time out, maybe to read a book in a cosy room or a warm bath with candles sounds perfect. Would love a lunchtime walk but have to eat at my desk Thanks for the reminder and the encouragement Anne xx

Lovely suggestions for treats Foxie! What a great idea - and we do all deserve a bit of spoiling, you are so right.
I love the thought of going for a walk and enjoying the autumn colours - or, as Gilley said, walking through those autumn leaves and kicking at them as you go.
I've already had a treat this week as Gilley and I had lunch together, which was lovely. Am I allowed another treat? If so, it will be a bit of window shopping tomorrow as I am meeting my daughter at lunchtime and we may spend a little time thinking about winter clothes.
Hope you all have at least one treat this week. xx

That's a lovely idea Foxie. Food morning everyone else -I like the sound of your treats! do you have a particular case in mind Brandyqueen? Perhaps it's old fashioned of me, but I think there is something very pleasurable in having nice luggage!
I have already had a scented bath, instead of a shower, this morning, after my 30 mins cycling! I have to work now but perhaps I'll go for a walk later. Hope you all have a good day, and that you get a nice treat too Foxie - and thank you for your support - it's great to know that it's there!

Morning ladies. didn't speak to you all yesterday but just read all your post's. Well done everyone on loosing weight and those ladies who stayed the same. Wow mjm you must look and feel fantastic, you have really made me think that it can work. Well ladies I have had to come to terms with somthing that has not been too good for me a shock to the system if you like. I was told by my doctor last year that I would not be able to go back to work full time. As most of you know I came off work with stress I had a high powered job.I them lost my parents and became ill, was given the news of a lung problem after tests for lung cancer, but the news from the doctor about work I thought was rubbish. Since last September I started back Assessing NVQ's, and building my hrs up. The last month I have been working full time and have been very stressed and depressed, I could not put my finger on it why. I was at work on Tues stand up training and lost the plot, I ran out the room. When I came home and talked to OH (who by the way has been really worried about me )helped me come to terms with how much work I can do. Yesterday I told the other company I would not be able to carry on, they were very understanding ,I have known them years and they do know about my problems. Sooo I had a good talk to myself and I will only work part time. The rest of the time is for myself to take Amber on many walks, to go swimming, spend time with OH and my D in the Cafe bar,(not working but chatting to customers)and also the important bit is talking to you lovely ladies. Today I feel fantasic as if a load has been took off my shoulders. Sorry for offloading on this thread but I wanted to share this with you because I feel so part of you all now. Thankyou for listening and have a wonderful day. Just off now for a nice walk in the park with Amber and I will speak to you later xx

Oh Linby, my heart goes out to you, its always difficult to make the decision to change your life for the better and get off the treadmill.
The releif you must feel now that the pressure is off. Take time to ease yourself into this new lifestyle and enjoy.
Amber continues to look lovely, so adorable - take time to kick up the leaves during your walk with her today.

Hello everyone!
Linby - so sorry to hear what you've been going through. I'm sure you must feel very relieved now you have made the decision to work part time. Do take as much time as you need and look after yourself. Your OH sounds very supportive. I can't get over how gorgeous Amber is! Have a lovely walk - I'm sure that being out in the fresh air getting exercise helps you get things into perspective.
Foxie - thank you for all those lovely suggestions.
I'm going in to hospital tomorrow morning for a gastroscopy and colonoscopy, so today I'm only allowed clear liquids and have had to take a disgusting laxative concoction. So I'm confined to the house and dashing to the loo quite frequently (sorry too much info there!!!). Really glad I decided to take a day off work, I just couldn't have coped, especially as we have just one loo which we share with the men (AND we have to walk through their office to get to it!) The scented bath sounds very very tempting for later on!! I'm feeling a bit apprehensive about tomorrow, but will remember mjm's advice to breathe! I am trying to keep busy, but have given myself a break to enjoy a bit of forum time. Enough about me, girls. How are you all today? The sun is shining - unfortunately it is showing up all the dust in my house!
Hope everyone is having a positive day!

Ally - Just think how nice and light and slim you'll be!
Linby, sounds as though you have made a very wise decision. It's so easy to get caught up in doing too much.
I'm thinking of deferring my walk as it is lashing down with rain here and very wild and windy...perhaps I'll sit and listen to some nice music instead!

Thank you so much Foxie for all the lovely suggestions today, I read your thread when I came in from work this morning, and I immediately knew what I was going to have as my treat.......
I went straight to the freezer, and yes, all those lovely thick slices of yummyness were there for the taking, so instead of my usual fruit bread/toast for breakfast, Ive just eaten a slice of NY vanilla cheeses cake! That is the second slice Ive had since the slippery slope saga, so I think Ive done quite well really, and boy was it scrummy!
I have just finished 4 nights out of five, SO I DESERVED IT!!!
Good afternoon girls, I hope you feeling better after your wee treats.
Chick I hope you had a "food morning"lol, I can tell what was on your mind when you typed your post.lol
Alex and gilley, glad you had a nice lunch yesterday, did you manage a walk too?
Linby sweety, I didnt realize you were having such a tough time at the moment, good for you making that important decision to put YOU FIRST, well done. Amber is a heart braker isnt she, gorgeous!
SL you make me so envious, I hope you had a lovely walk on the beach, dont get me wrong, we have lovely beaches around the North East, but you would need your thermals on, and you would NEVER, EVER, go for a swim!!lol
Ally, you poor love, I hope it all goes well for you tomorrow, Ill be thinking of you.
I am all excited, Ive got a week off now.........unless I get dragged in to do extra that is, I think Ill take the phone off the hook!!
