Met this summer in Cornwall - Photo of Nanny Connie
      #209857 - 01/10/2008 18:18

Nanny Connie said she is OK and happy for me to post this photo of her on here

I personally had lovely time meeting Nanny Connie and walking and talking around the gardens in the dry.
More chatting over our lunch. Both Nanny Connie and I picked the same lunch from the pleasant and well presented cold food selection.

I even got to meet Nanny Connie's lovely and smiley eyed OH. He was very patient and stayed in the car reading a book for the first hour and while we were busy walking and nattering away

We met up at Trelissick House and walked around it's pleasant gardens which overlook the King Harry ferry which runs across the River Fal. The house, a large 19th century country house with a Grecian facade, is not open to the public. The gardens consist of extensive parkland, woodlands and flowering shrubs. There are 500 acres of parkland and riverside woods plus a shop, art and craft gallery and of coruse the restaurant.

We both enjoyed our meet up very much and are still in contact and all being well hope to meet again soon.

So for those who worry a little and are thinking twice about meeitng up with some of us forum ladies I sussgest you do. Hopefully you will find new and valued friends and just like us two

Sorry Nanny C
The only one photo of me, the one with you, I can not down load off my camwera card or onto my webshots site yet as the file keeps coming up and saying unable to read!
But I will do it I promise and if I can work out how to get you and me on here. I might just ask my smiley OH to help me out

Yes I to think Nanny Connie looks great.

Lovely photo of you both DBVC and Nannieconnie! You both look gorgeous.

I love Trelisssick Gardens - it's one of my favourite places. There is a tree there with very low branches and I have lots of photos of my kids taken over the years sitting there at all different ages!

Hi DBVC,

I met up with nannyconnie today, not in a beautiful place like you did, it was more like a mud and puddles sort of place. nannyconnie told me how she enjoyed meeting up with you.

The pic of you both and NC on her own are lovely
