hello I'm new to the forum - and fairly new to Warwick - and wondered if you could tell me about the Warwick Supper Club - how many of you are there and how often do you meet?

Hi, we usually meet up about once a month somewhere around Warwick or Stratford.
Last time there were 5 of us, we met at Claverdon. We are meeting again on 16th October, not Claverdon this time. We have already booked for then but I'm sure the pub restaurant would be able/glad to fit another person in.
Hope to see you then so let me know if you want to come.

Hi Warwickshire Ladies! I've moved and now living near L Spa, near Amethyst actually. I wanted to come to the October supper but Thursdays is my night for something else unfortunately. Good to find the 'supperers' still meeting up. The last supper I went to was at The Waterman months ago.

Hi Swansong and Cerise,we usually meet on a Wednesday but chose Thursday this time.Maybe we could make it a Wednesday again next time if it means you both can come.
Swansong I think I sat next to you at the first meeting I went to at Claverdon?
I think I'm the only one still going from that time. Txp organised the next couple but we haven't heard from her for a few months and she doesn't seem to have been on the forum either.

Hello Helenspa - T'was I if the Waterman/Waterboy/Wateringhole or whatever is in Claverdon. Were you the lady I was nattering to about James Bolam perhaps? I remember a lot of new women that evening and a lot of innuendo about Pampas Grass also.
Wednesday evenings would be fine for me and I shall look out for the November postings. Great to see that other people are eager to meet up.
I don't know about supper club meetings pre 2008 in the Warwickshire area, but it's good that since myself, Amethyst and one other from Rugby met outside L Spa M&S one February night earlier this year that it's continued. I suppose it's the nature of the thing that people will come in and out of it given that we all have so many things going on.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, I shall keep watching the forum to see the date for Novenber meet. Thurs are normally fine but I am invlived in a drama group at the moment and Tues and Thurs are rehearsal nights so a Wed would be great as long as its suits others!

Yes Swansong that was me and there was alot of 'discussion' about pampas grass.

Hi there,
I have been attemptimg to get to a supper club meeting in Warwickshire for several months, but unfortunately I had an accident and needed to have an operation. I am now well and I was wondering if I could attend the supper on Thursday 16th October, if it is not too late. If so, please could you let me know details of venue etc.
