Hi Kazzi Just wondering what happened last night . Eight of us turned up at the Thai Lounge in Whitchurch to find that no table had been booked. It was Friday night and lovely weather so they were packed and fully booked all the evening. We waited for you til nearly 8pm and Lynda rang and text you. We are worried Kaz that you are ill. We eventually found a table in an Indian place and we had a super evening. Unfortunately,Pat rang the Thai lounge to check the time and was told there was no table. She then thought it best not to risk coming all the way from Brecon. We know there must be an explanation and we all hope you are ok. Sending you good wishes and looking forward to hearing from you Gx

Well girls, what a fun evening that turned out to be, despite the disastrous start. It was great to meet you, Becky and Mairead, I hope you enjoyed the night---and I look forward to meeting you all at the second attempt at the Thai restaurant in November. The memory returned on the journey home and the answers were-(for those of you who can even remember the conversation) The Cross Inn and Keith Michelle (Mitchel??) Kazzi, please let us know how/where you are. We were all speculating as to why the booking went astray and, in view of the fact that you were not well for the Pebbles evening also, we are concerned. A quick response would put our minds at rest. Hope to hear from you. Barn -Owl

Thoroughly enjoyed the evening. I'm impressed with your memory recall barn_owl. My excuse is that I was handicapped by 2 glasses of wine which meant I had forgotten the questions let alone the answers until you jogged my memory!

I am posting this in the hope that it leaps on to the first page to keep it where Kazzi can see it if she visits the forum. Apparently, some members have had e mails from Kaz about her Book Club at Cardiff Bay. We DO know by this that she is not ill. Come on Kazzi get in touch and post to let us know what happened to you last Friday. We are curious to say the least!! Hope you are good anyway Take care x

Kazzi does not appear to be seriously ill. In an email to members of a Cardiff book club yesterday she seemed perfectly well. I am completely flabbergasted that anyone could let so many people turn up at a restaurant where she was supposed to have booked a table without any explanation. It only takes a phone call or email to say sorry but I can't organise this event so can someone else take over.
