Mini cruises
      #200669 - 22/09/2008 07:26

Thinking of taking a mini cruise with OH for our wedding anniversary in February. First timers at cruising so a bit of a taster as well as a break - has anyone got any tips or advice - where to go/which cruise line/where is good in February???

Sorry can't help about a cruise but my OH and I went to Amsterdam last February for 3 days.It was fab - so much to see and do.Weather was pretty much as here but when you're in a new exciting place it doesn't seem to matter so much. Hope this helps

I did a mini cruise with P&O one November. It went to Zebrugge and there was a trip to Brugge. It was absolutely fantastic. Lots to do on the ship, and to eat, no chance of getting bored. Even went in the outdoor hot tub (yes in November!) great fun! It was nice getting dressed up for dinner, but we didn't feel under any pressure to do so. I'm looking forward to being able to book a longer trip next time.

just come back from a mini weekend cruise to Brugge, my 4th cruise but my partners 1st and within 10 mins of bording the ship at southampton he was hooked. We are booking up another cruise (longer this time) around March.
What can i say P & O are brilliant, the food 24 hrs, entertainment, bars, very relaxed, spotless, friendly and very well organised, plus all age groups.
Can't say anything negative.
