Bio Oil
      #200399 - 21/09/2008 19:33

Recommend this as a moisturiser. It's a light oil, has good things in it, smells of rose. I bought a large bottle for a tenner a year ago, use it at least once a day and have still got nearly half a bottle left.
You can put a few drops in the bath. It improves skin tone, diminishes scars etc- a lovely product.

me too - lovely stuff. Have also used it on a bit of sunburn (remember that?!) - worked a treat, took all the heat and sting out and it didn;t peel as much as I thought it would.

Hi Chattycathy and Bumblebee- I'm glad you've discovered it too!
Who needs expensive moisturisers eh?

Hi BeauSoleil- yes, just rub it all over basically!
A friend always puts a few drops in her bath, haven't tried that yet, too busy slapping it on my face!

Hi ladies

My mum swears by it, she had badly marked skin from acne scars, they are barely noticible now, so I would recomend it too

I have seen adverts for this product and often wondered if it does all it claims. I have very red cheeks and would buy some if I thought it would work. Any more information please girls.

Penni,

I've found the Clinique redness range works for me. If you ask, they will give samples. If they haven't any samples, they will decant some testers into small pots. The moisturiser is great.

Worth a try

You can get it anywhere now eg boots. Find it good for dry skin on my legs, when they start to look like snakeskin. Mind you ,my grandson's acqueous (spelling) cream is also very good for dry skin too.

I have some but have lacked consistency in its use but I am a bit of a picker and my face has little scars on it, probably not that noticeable to others but Iwould prefer it if I couldnt see them as much. its meant to be great for reducing the appearance of stretchmarks and scars but I disagree that it smells of roses...I think it has quite an unpleasant smell.
you can get it everywhere and there is loads for sale on ebay and I think it has its own website where they will send you a free sample too.

This product is brilliant! I had a very bad scar from an accident on my leg and tried this(scar was over 30 odd years old) Now can hardly see it! I also recommended this to my uncle who had a severe skin problem on his leg that was blue ,purple and scaly . He is 82 years young and the scar had not cleared for 20 odd years despite special creams from his doctor- now cleared, his doctor is amazed.I also used it on my stitches where I had my skin cancer removed. My consultant is now recommending to others as the improvement to skin is fantastic.
You can get it at supermarkets now. approx £9.99.

since this post I decided to give mine a fairer trial and have been applying it to my face every night and really massaging my face (sure that increasing the blood flow probably helps to) but I am sure that there is an improvement in the appearance of my skintone etc.
