Hello! I am really wanting to set up a book club in the Mold/Chester/Wrexham area, an informal group where we all take a turn to pick a book and we could meet up at a different restaurant or at members' houses depending on what people want to do. Is there anyone who would like to join or is there already an informal group going which I could join as I am new to the area?

I'd love to join a club in this area. I have a wide taste in books and think it would be great to meet up with others at a book club.

Hi, Not sure if either of you are interested but there is a Chester Supper Club meeting on the 30th October in a North Wales pub. It's called Chester Supper Club but actually its more like a "Border Supper Club. You are more than welcome & I would be interested in a Book Club as well. If you are interested in joing us I will send you the details of the pub that we are meeting at. Sue

I would be very interested in the supper club. I think I did hear of a supper club in Chester before and thought what a good idea but what a pity its not in Wrexham. Glad to hear that it is open to members in the wider area as really we are not far from Chester. Unfortunately, I can't make it this week as I'm off to London tomorrow morning for the week but would love to come another time. Please let me know when you next meet.

yes please, i read alsorts, i would love to read a book and then chat about it too, shame you cant make it this week to the supper,i am going look forward to meeting you another time
