Hi Snoozysuzy

We are going to Ireland on Wednesday and going to Galway for a couple of days as part of a driving holiday. Booked in at Sea Breeze Lodge Galway.

We found it on the internet.

I live in the next county, so I know Galway reasonably well. We stayed in the Jury's Inn which is at the end of Shop St (busy shopping and restaurant/pub area). It was lively as there are always hen parties in this area, but the buzz is good.
The King's Head pub is great for food and popular with students.
Most of the shopping is in and around the city centre area but Terryland shopping centre is worth a look. (about 10 mins walk)
