      #197946 - 18/09/2008 14:42

Where oh where can I get some jeans that fit and look good at a not to expensive price?

New Look have a good selection at good prices but they fit me everywhere but the waist is so baggy??? I am an 18 so this is perhaps a big ask!

Any tips??

Try Per Una in M&S. They have stretch denim jeans that flatter and fit for £25. Worked for me after many fruitless tries elsewhere. Good luck.

I can also recommend the Per Una Roma jeans, great fit, someone on here told us about these several months ago, i have 4 pairs now, really comfy.

Thank you all so much! Think I will head off to try Per Una whilst sampling the coffee shop! Had a look at Simply Be as well and will give that a try - I didn't know they had such a good selection!

I've just bought some Lee jeans in their 'Natural fit' range with low waist and stretch fit and I am very impressed. Haven't worn these since teenage days having been seduced by the bigger name brands, but they are really very good. I got mine whilst on holiday in the US for $29 so expect they will be £30 here in the UK.

I went into Levis in Bluewater and said "look at me - I've got a big bum and I'm short - what have you got?" - the first pair she gave me to try on fitted perfectly and I think they look pretty good. The pair she gave me were £40, but you have to be careful as some Levis can be double that.
Otherwise, all my jeans have been from Gap over the years - my Levis, are my "smart" pair, which Gap didn't seem to do in my size.
