Many thanks to all of you who gave me lots of useful advice about Prague.
OH and I were there last weekend and had a wonderful time. The weather was gorgeous, and we had a very relaxing weekend. Did loads of walking, went up so many steps to the Castle(!) but it was definitely worth it. Went up the Fenicular railway and meandered through the Old Town.
Stayed at the Archibald Hotel, which I'd highly recommend. Ate at some lovely restaurants.
No problems or delays with any of the flights. In fact, flight down to London from Aberdeen was particularly smooth (no surprise considering Camilla Parker Bowles was across the aisle from us!).
For a weekend getaway, I'd highly recommend Prague. Just leave the high-heels at home - those cobbles will ruin them!

Funnily enough I was only today looking at the photos of our trip there lass year in October on my digital photo frame.
Did you get snow there Elsie? I bet it was cold.
We didn't have anyone of note across the ailse to us but then we were in our own private jet lol
