Many thanks.

Hi Chrissi New Quay in Cardigan used to be really pretty, but havent been for several years. Here is the link which also shows quite a lot in the area.
Hope it helps - I can remember we camped at Llangrannog and had to come home early as the campsite became waterlogged due to heavy rain - oh happy days!
Its a lovely area and very much like north Cornwall.
x M.

Thanks for the links. It's an area we've not visited before (apart from going to Fishguard for the ferry).

Hi ChrissiFi
I lived in Cardigan for over twenty years and now call there at least once a week so know it quite well. PM me if you like and let me know what sort of food you like and what sort of things you would like to do and I will give you as much info as I can.
For a little place there is loads to see and do and some very good places to eat.

Hi Chrissie This is an area I know and love!.My mum was born in Fishguard and I have visited Newport Pemb all my life....I was there for a couple of days last week. I would thoroughly recommend The Cnapan in Newport. Newport is on the A487 the main road from Cardigan to Fishguard. the food is wonderful! A two course dinner is £22 and three course is £28. Cnapan is closed on Tuesday. You can google it and get more details. The Golden Lion in Newport is also good and the Llys Meddig(Doctors Court). Hope you have a lovely time Grace x

For pub grub the Sloop Inn at Porthgain is worth a visit. Porthgain is worth a visit just to see the local art galleries. My favourite local artist is Alun Davies and he has a gallery there. There are a couple of restaurants there, specialising in seafood. Porthgain is between Fishguard and St Davids. You could not visit a more spectacular part of Pembrokeshire as the North of the county is by far the most rugged and most beautiful. I feel a real passion for the area and have lived here all of my life. Wild horses wouldnt drag me away.
