Good morning BQ, I wish I could eat porridge, but I just cant stand it, I dont even like it on my fingers, but thats another story! Well done with your walk yesterday.

I have had 1 piece of Hovis Seed Sensation, Rich and Roasted bread toasted with raspberry jam on it, and of course my cup of cappuccino. I always have this for breakfast, I should vary it, but I really enjoy toast in the morning.

I am going for my walk with my friend this morning, it looks like it is going to be a lovely day.

I hope you all a good day, 2 days to go!!

Hi Brandyqueen,
Bought some blueberry wheats from Tesco yesterday - they are soooo yummy - had them with chopped banana - kept me happy until lunchtime. Will have them again this morning with a few blueberries - we have breakfast at work at 9ish - usually have porridge but fancied a change.
Mjm - I love toast and crumpets and tea cakes - especially the butter!!!!!!!I'm afraid that is my downfall.
Got to keep my nose to the grindstone this morning!!!

Hi Brandyqueen-early bird, and mjm and Anne, good morning!

I'm a toast lover too but these days I try not to have toast for breakfast - I save it for if I want a treat leater in the day. I had my usual mini shredded wheat with soya milk, but couldn't eat them all (and it was only a small bowl) so left some. I am feeling virtuous - which makes up for yesterdays's quiche and cake and bread and butter (not all at once!) though I did have lots of salad too!

I try to do some exercise before breakfast. I read somewhere that people who exercise first thing in the morning are more likely to kee it up, and it has become part of my routine. Only 15 mins this morning but will do some more later.

Have a good day everyone, and remember to eat very slowly!

Hi brandyqueen, mjm, anne and valaber - glad you've all had breakfast - very important! I've had my usual muesli with soya milk - I love it. I do vary it sometimes by having just fruit, which is nice as well.

brandyqueen - well done on your walk yesterday!

anne - your breakfast sounded good. You mentioned toasted tea cakes and butter (real butter) - I was dreaming of those some days ago. It was so difficult to resist going out and buying some - the weather was miserable and just right for being indoors indulging! I didn't go out and get any though, I'm pleased to say!

mjm - Hovis Seed Sensation is lovely bread - I sometimes have that at lunchtime - really nice flavour.

valaber - good idea to exercise first thing - perhaps I should try that because, once the day begins, I find it very difficult to make time for exercise.

It's nice and sunny here in Southampton - hope the same goes for wherever you are. x

Hi Brandyqueen, mjm, Anne and Valaber and everyone else!

Funnily enough I was thinking about porridge this morning because it feels like winter! Today I had fruit and fibre with semi skimmed milk. I have been having yoghurt with fruit, but didn't fancy it this morning. I LOVE toast too - it is my Saturday morning treat, when I have REAL coffee as well!

Anne, those blueberry wheats sound yummy - wonder if Morrisons have similar?

Valaber, well done you - I wish I could get up a bit earlier and exercise. I struggle to get out of bed anyway and my day is so sedentary - I drive to work and sit in front of the computer all day. I will try to be more motivated. what sort of exercise do you do?

Hope everyone has a good day!

Morning everyone. It's SUNNY here finally. I vary my breakfast my favorite is Special K with berries and I add fresh red berries but I havent any red berries, so I have had strawberries this morning. Well we have now got an addition to our family AMBER she is a seven week old cross breed. We don't know what she will turn out like but she wont be a big dog, mother is a terrier she is tan with a little brown face. When I master the loading of photo's I will introduce you all to her. I had another good day yesterday no eating between meals which is always my downfall. Enjoy your exercise girls I think I will be running around today with the toilet training paper.Have a great day everyone xx

intlw, she sounds adorable and Amber is a lovely name, cant wait to see the pics. You will be very busy with her from now on, how wonderful!

Hello MrsH, I have posted this a few times now so its quite old.

The Flabuless Forumers are following the PMK System, we have all got the book and cd.

Our next weigh in is this Saturday morning (30th Aug), its usually on a Monday but I am going on Holiday so I wont be able to do it this time.

Let me know if you need any more info....

I have had a lot PMs recently enquiring about what we Flabuless girls are doing to lose weight, so instead of PMing everyone back (I know, I am lazy), I have gone back and found the original thread of many moons ago, I hope this helps.......

FLABULESS FORUMERS, To clarify....

Ok girls, by now hopefully, most of you will be ready with your book and cd and chomping on the bit to get started on MONDAY, I know some of you have already started reading, thats great, as soon as you get it, get stuck in.

It says in the book, that listening to the cd over and over again, everyday, will dramatically enhance your ability to lose weight, you dont have to believe it, just use it.

1. Have you got a diary/note book to write in your- TODAYS SUCCESS CHECKLIST.
Write your START WEIGHT at the top of the page, you can also write down your TARGET WEIGHT there too. for those who want to measure them selves as well, write it down.

2. For those of you who want me to post your START WEIGHT, PM me by Sunday night, so I can put them on the GETTING STARTED, DAY 1. thread on Monday.

If you dont want me to post your start weight, and just a progress weight, thats ok, but I still want you to PM me so I can put your name on the list of members.

3. It is a 14 day weigh in, weigh your self in the morning, nacked! before you have anything to eat or drink,so this is your true weight.

4. Every 7 days, so it will be a monday, we can have a TIPS, IDEAS AND SUPPORT. thread, so that everyone can post their experiences, ups and downs, and general feed back. This is going to be really important for everyone to stay grouped and strong. I will try and keep everyone motivated, but please, I cant do this bit on my own, I need as much help as I can get in keeping everyone going.

5. Every day I will post a thread, DAY 1, DAY 2, DAY 3,etc with little motivational saying and exersises for you to do, you dont need to reply to this thread, if you dont want to. I will be following the journal that I have from PMKs box set.

6. last but not least, well I think it is, probably have missed something,
ENJOY, this is your new begining, take it with both hands and love it, dont let anyone discourage you, or tell you that it wont work, you are in control of this, no one can do it for you, but we are in it together, and together anything is posible.

One last thing, please use PKM, from now on, we dont want to be Googled thro his full name!

I am now going to close the original thread, so no more posts there please, use this one for any questions you have got.

Its not too late for anyone to join in, if you want to.

Good afternoon all, YS has just taken his GF off on a picnic, and the sun has come out. Yippee. I'm going to clean the kitchen floor shortly - what a fascinating life I lead!!

This morning for breakfast I had hot water and lemon, then a glass of pineapple, banana and coconut smoothie followed by a bowl of Crunchy Oats with Tropical Fruits, served with soya milk, and I had tea with skimmed milk. I expect it's my tropical breakfast that has enticed the sun out!

I always have a fruit course and almost always follow it up with cereal, either Crunchy Oats, Shreddies, or Bran Flakes, or Weetabix or porridge in the winter. I like to set myself up for the day.

intlw, can we expect to see you at Crufts next year? Congratulations on your new family member.

Are you ready for one of my really pathetic excuses? I had my hair done yesterday and it's still looking quite nice today. If I do my Salsacise DVD I'll get really hot and sweaty and my hair will be soaked so I might do some gentle Pilates later then get in the bath just up to my neck.

Welcome, if you are a newbie thinking of joining us, and everyone, have a great day.

Hi Sella,

Your right about the lame excuse!!

I was having a great day today, 2 loads of washing out on the line, loads of salad chopped up ready to eat when I fancy, the bathroom half cleaned, and then.........

The room started spinning, I went very very hot and I ran upstarts to puke!!......

Lovely........

I have to keep my head very still to stop the room from spinning. I phoned the Dr and told him I have Labyrinthitis and to put up a prescription of Stemitil to the Pharmacy, I make their job very easy for them!

OH has picked up the medication for me, bless him, and I will just have to wait for the sickness to stop.

I bet you cant beat that for an excuse not to do any more cleaning!!

mjm - what extremes you go to to get out of the cleaning!

Seriously though, I hope you feel better very soon. I had a few weeks of vertigo earlier this summer - without the throwing up thank goodness - and I know how debilitating it can be.

Take it easy and think of your hols!

Thank you Ally, It really isnt much fun is it, I feel abit daft really, I am fine until I move then..........

quick run to the bathroom,

Its a horrible feeling, like lying in your bed after a good night on the raz, and the room starts to move....just horrible.

It should pass in time for going down the road........it had better!
