Hi, I am new to this area and would love to find / start a supper or lunch club in the Taunton area.... am missing the great conversation and compnay of women ! any takers ??? ( also posting a message on the Book club site if anyone has some interst in that too )

Hi Rhodes,
I don't know if there's already a supper club in the area (I've not spotted one) but a trip down to Killerton's being arranged for all southwest forummers for the 27th Sept (if you're not familiar with the area I think it's the Cullompton junction on the M5) - it's further down the supper club page. I'm not sure how many have signed up so far but I think there should be quite a few going so it should be a good opportunity to get to know people. I've no idea how many of us there are in Somerset - I'm about half an hour north of Taunton - but there must be some more!

Some of us from Glos. are coming down to Killerton too. It is a Nat Trust property so free to go in if you are a member. Susieblue is actually organising this Lunch meet. I think she lives in or near Exeter but you could PM her for any further details and to let her know if you are
interested. Killerton is just North of Exeter and just off the M5 as Chrissi says. I t5hink mabout 14 are signed up just now.

Just seen your posting.
Have you managed to set up anything in Taunton yet asI would be interested in meeting up if there is anything on as I live near Taunton.
