Hi ladies,
Alexp and I are going to meet up on Tuesday 2nd of September for a virtuous walk and light lunch.
We have decided to walk the Southampton Walls as neither of us has done so before, despite living in the City.
We wondered if any other Flabuless Forumers lived near enough to join us.
It would be lovely to put more faces to names.
We plan to meet at 11am at the Bargate, walk the walls which should take about an hour, then light lunch in a nice tearoom.
Let us know if anybody can make it and we can pm with details etc.
Have a flabuless week
Love Gilley x

This sounds absolutely brilliant Alex and gilley, if I lived near by, I would be there like a shot, I am so jealous! This is such a great idea.
I am just in from work and I have had another good night food wise, after my sleep I am going to try a short run again, just to see how I get on, I am actually looking forward to it!
The sun is out so it looks like its going to be a nice.
I am soooo jealous!!!!!!

Morning ladies - AlexP and Gilley the walk sounds lovely, wish I was there - I'm still recovering from my 9 mile trek up, down and around Mam Tor, it was wonderful though!
Hope the run goes well mjm - aren't you good!
Spanishlady 30 mins seems a good swim to me - I still can't swim - so I'd say you'd earned your 30 mins of chat.
INTLW I look forward to hearing about the new addition to your family, pictures would be good too! I keep trying to persuade OH and son that a puppy would be wonderful but they're not having it. I'd love a border terrier, we see one everytime we go out but they still say no. I shall keep trying
I'm off to Barmouth tomorrow so won't be online for a few days. I wish you all a flabbuless time and look forward to catching up when I get back.
Have fun ladies x

Hi everyone!
AlexP and Gilley - that sounds fun, what a good idea you can encourage each other. Wish I lived nearer!
PatsyW - well done you! I bet you felt brilliant after that trek - there's something about fresh air and exercise, I think it is natural endorphins which create a lovely feelgood experience.
mjm, where do you get the energy from?!
INTLW don't overdo the swimming! and Spanishlady, I'm so envious - I wish I was in sunny Spain rather than wet, cold Cumbria!
Hope I haven't missed anyone out!
First day back at work for me today, after a week at home decorating, babysitting and general pottering about. I am feeling really stressed because of various things that haven't been done in my absence! It's lunchtime now, so I'm busy cutting up my tuna salad sandwich into sections so that I can eat it slooooowwwlllyyy. will try to regain my sanity by spending half an hour with you lovely ladies!
Have a good day everyone!

Hello everyone! All this exercise sounds very impressive. I managed some walking while we were away but otherwise, I think I not only fell off the wagon, but got left behind completely. Holidaying with OH is NOT a good idea (well actually it is, because he's a sweetie) because he works on the principle that I ama Good Thing, you can never have too much of a good thing, so he would like more of me!
I have had cooked breakfasts (with toast as well, but I did resist the cereal), bara brith (a bit like malt loaf), ice cream, chips and all sorts of other things. I did eat when I was hungry and I ate slowly, so perhpas some of pmk has stayed with me...
I've listened to the CD today, had a walk and followed the rules with my eating, so if I can keep that up perhpas Saturday won't be too much of a horrible shock!

Valaber, what a chord you have struck. I've had OH telling me that I don't need to lose any more weight, as he likes me as I am!! I could lose three more stone and I'd still not be skinny!!!! He's also been overbuying bread, and he bought me a hot chocolate yesterday, and said proudly "I got you a large one". I asked him if he was expecting me to swim in it. I definitely reckon I could have got my whole head into the cup, especially after I'd eaten the whipped cream and marshmallows! I felt a bit sick afterwards - serves me right.
I was very good on our meal out last night, in fact I don't think I had any bread all day. I've been out to lunch today though and had quiche.
Hope you had a lovely time, AlexP and gilley.

Hi again girls,
Sl I hope you enjoyed you swim and chat!
intlw, I hope you feel fit again soon, dont over do it now!, how lovely a puppy, it will definitely keep you on the move.
Patsy, I hope you have a lovely time on your holiday.
anne honey, how are you feeling today?
Allyl, did you manage to regain your sanity? To answer your question, I think my complete change of diet and much more water has given me all my energy, but energy is no use without motivation, and I get all I need from these daily threads, your all fabuless!, and of course FLABULESS!!
Val it sounds as tho you had a lovely time away with your OH, now, the wagon has stopped to let you get back on board, so come girl, jump back on, we are all here waiting for you.
Sella, it sounds like your OH is a sweety, but get rid of him if he is trying to sabotage your plan to get shinny!LOL,
Its funny but I have had the "how much more are you going to lose" comments too!
I went out for a 10 minute run, and did much better this time, I think I have got the breathing thing now, which does help!
Come on girls, your doing great, only a few more days til weigh in day (SATURDAY), make them your best yet, make them count!!

mjm - yes I felt much better after being on the forum for a while!
Sella_Vee and Valaber - I think my OH is in league with yours! He served up Chicken Kiev and chips for tea tonight, redeemed by a huge salad, though! Left most of the chips, so I don't feel too bad about them - and yes, I did enjoy every mouthful of the ones I did eat!

Hi Gilley, hi all,
I've been shamed, yes shamed into coming on here by mjm, yes and I deserve it. Guilty as charged as not contributing enough to these threads. I do apologize ladies.
I've been going to a all-in-one machine that's the same as spending one hour at the gym but it shakes you 5 x 2 mins. It's quite good fun! Don't know if it works but it keeps me happy!
X
