Good morning one and all, the sun is shining this morning, I feel excited and full of joy, When I got up, all my bloatedness from my nightshift has disapeared and i feel fab.
So girls, how do you feel this morning?
On a scale of 1-10, how has your week been, taking your eating, exercising and golden rules into account.
Apart from my wee slide on the slope, I think ive done quite well, I would give myself a 7 out of 10.
So taking everything into account, what score would give yourself, and why?

Morning mjm I would give myself 5 out of ten because I had a really bad day yesterday. I think because I had a few sherberts ( wine) Friday night with the girls. I felt very bloated and therefore gave in.Today I am possitive and I hope I wont give in. Another problem I have OH and I are off work this week and will be eating out a lot Help!!

Hi mjm and intlw - this last week has certainly had its ups and downs for me, although I was ok yesterday and am doing ok today. I guess I would give myself a 5 out of 10 - probably half the week has been pretty good food-wise and rules-wise. For the remainder, I have tried to keep the rules in mind, but I have strayed - and I haven't been exercising as I should. Tomorrow is another day - and I hope to make the coming week more of an 8 or 9 out of 10!
Hope you're all having a good Sunday.x

Hi intlw - yes, we can do this together. This is why the support on this thread is so wonderful. Enjoy your Sunday lunch and afternoon with your OH. I'm going ot enjoy my Sunday roast, but I'm also going to apply the rules - eat slowly, not overeat, etc. Yes, I do agree - any amount of exercise is better than none at all. I don't suppose I'll get any exercise today but want to go back to doing a bit more walking during the week. My OH isn't into walking, mainly due to health problems, and I'd rather spend this afternoon with him than go walking on my own. Enjoy your day xx

this week I think like you mjm 7/10 because I had a slip on Sunday night drank more wine than I should have (a lovely red) and them got stuck into the bread and chesse but maybe I deserve 8/10 because on Monday morning even with a hangover I listened to PMK!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone, sorry I didn't get back onto the Forum yesterday to "talk" to you.
Brandyqueen, don't forget, you deserve an extra point for getting into a smaller sized dress. In fact make that two points, because a dress is a top, and a bottom!
mjm, this eventful night you had the other night, was it before or after you went to work ?
Spanishlady, I'm not sure lying on your back listening to PMK counts as exercise . Great to have you posting again. Hope your 'puter is all fixed.
intlw, as soon as I started this PMK thing, OH and I seemed to be eating out or going to weddings and dances all the time. While it's much easier when you're eating at home, at least we can follow the rules wherever we are, unlike those friends of mine who are on meal replacement plans and have had to lose their social life altogether.
AlexP, do you have stairs in you house? I've started taking things up and down stairs one at a time, instead of leaving them in a big pile, and this is helping me get more exercise. Now when I get upstairs and think "What did I come up here for?", I look on it as an exercise opportunity rather then a sign of old age! Try running up and down the stairs a few times. Don't do too many though, you want to look prettily flushed, not like a woman in need of defibrillation.
I think I'm a 7 out of 10, because I did exercise a bit more and drink a bit less, but I lost concentration over lunch, and I'm feeling a wee bit bloated. I had half a ciabatta roll, but I'm wondering if I'm turning into one of those people who finds that white bread makes them feel uncomfortable. I did enjoy it though!!
Have a great day, Sella.

Hi girls, we didnt end up "doing the kitchen", OH couldnt be bothered in the end, shame as I was looking forward to it!!
We went into town instead,
I have been thinking of taking up running, yes RUNNING!!
I havent done any running since I was at school about 10years ago!! and I didnt even own a pair of trainers. So today while we were in town I bought a pair of running shoes.
I couldnt wait to get started, so as soon as we got back I put on my keep fit clothes and out I went.........
Sella, my eventful night happened when I got to work!
Are you all looking forward to the week ahead?, I am.

As you know, mjm, I don't do running, or any kind of activity that involves bouncing, because, frankly, two black eyes is not a good look. However I did put my trainers on this afternoon and OH and I went for a long walk.
Since you are now in training are we likely to see you in London in 2012?

LOL Sella,
I went to the bridge and back, running and walking, running and walking, I needed to be resuscitated when I got home, it only takes a maximum of 5 minutes to walk there and back, but I thought I would start small, and build on it, I dont want to kill myself altogether!!, I will do the same tomorrow and see what happens.
Luckily I had already invested in a couple of good support bras before I started my rebounding, so I was all set.
