Hi
Following the Lakeside lunch today, the next Essex Supper Club meet is suggested to be Wednesday 10th September at the Silver Lotus Chinese restaurant in Billericay High Street. All you can eat for £10.95 + drinkies 
Please post if you want to come along and I will book a table.

Will check my diary. I had such a lovely lunch with a fab bunch of ladies at Lakeside yesterday. They all made me feel so welcome. Thank you everyone.

It was lovely to meet Debdenjane and shellseeker,i really hope that we will meet again just wish i had been able to have a longer chat with you both.
Perhaps we could all swap seats next time so that we can all get to know one another:-)

I would have loved to have joined you Shoelover, and all of the other ladies, but I have today agreed to have surgery on my foot and that is the day the consultant has chosen. I hope you all have a great time and hope that it is not too long before I can join you.

Hi bunnygirl, welcome to the forum. We just meet up on an ad hoc basis, and anyone is welcome. Someone posts a thread with date and location and if enough peeps can make it, then a table is booked. So far we have met in pubs, Indian restaurants, Mexican restaurant, Spanish ... we like to ring the changes! The bill is usually split equally round the table. We have also just met up for a coffee. Its all very informal & we have a good natter! Do hope you can join us on the 10th
