Hello there Vikki :-)

Come say hello on main forum :-)

Im not sure if this is much help but some years ago i arranged a Coffee morning at a Todlers group where you charged for the coffee/tea.

I know its held once a year but unsure when.

Just thought you could do it with a Dusco,if you sell spirits etc you may find instead that you need to sell raffle tickets that can be exchanged behind the bar.

If you arent holding it at home you may need to get a licence for music..

Good luck x

Not sure if this will help, but its MacMillan World Coffee Morning on 26th September. I organised various things in my workplace for the last years (i.e. raffle, bring and buy, coffee/cakes etc and made over £800 which included a very generous donation I hasten to add).

As I am not now working, I hope to hold a Coffee morning/ or open house on that day as I want to raise more money for cancer related charities as my BIL died in March aged 55 having suffered from cancer for 2 years and also in memory of some ladies I have known who have died from breast cancer.

If you apply to MacMillan on line, they can send you a pack with lots of info and ideas etc.

Good luck!!

Hi Vikki
First of all well done for the Ribbon Walk - it was quite an acheivement for all the wonderful people that braved the miles!!

& a Mamma Mia night sounds like a great idea!
What kind of help were you looking for for your event? Maybe we can all put our heads together and come up with some great ideas for you?

Hello amelica2,

Thank you for supporting MacMillan, but more importantly all cancer patients and their families. I work in the cancer field of nursing and we appreciate all efforts whether it being fund raising, support or just being aware.

Hope your coffee morning goes well, Im sure it will, well done!
