I wrote a post not long ago about mineral based foundation, and how it brought me out in blotches on my face.
Ever the fool, bought a Prestige quartet of mineral eye shadows on Thursday, wore it on Friday, when I met Spangle for coffee, my eye was really irritating me and I thought it might be my mascara, but I think it was this mineral substance in the newly acquired eyeshadow.
Why is it that it seems to be affecting me so badly, the depth of colour in both the foundation and eye colour were great. Has anyone else had the same experience with these new mineral products.

I haven't used mineral products so have no experience of this, I do wonder if it is because the particles are so small and loose that you get this problem?

I use LilyLolo which doesn't have any added chemicals so should be less likely to aggrevate - I think their website has full ingredient listings (I was trying to avoid petrochemicals and parabens). My skin's fairly sensitive but this brand has been ok (so far).

I can't use any loose powder products due to the particles as Gigi says. If I use powder eyeshadow I have to wet it first otherwise I get sore eyes like you Plasmo.

Plasmo, Mineral products are good but I never had such experience. It might be due to rich mineral products. --------------------------------- Sukhjit 3-Step Ovarian Cysts Healing System
