Anyone got a ground source heat pump with a borehole?
      #173091 - 20/08/2008 13:57

Sorry to be so technical. But we are fed up with paying through the nose for heating oil and are looking into having one installed.

We know we will need a borehole rather than a trench - if anyone has any experience of having this done I really would appreciate any pointers.

We are going to have to dig up the ground floor and put in underfloor heating so we will have to move into the garage.

I know it will be a good thing in the long term - but all that upheaval and nothing cosmetic to show for it. Gulp!!

My lovely picture has gone - new one as soon as I can get Photobucket to behave.
