I'm going for a city break in November, bringing only carry-on luggage. How do I pack for sightseeing and dinner with only one bag?

Hi AngelT, It's not really a problem most airlines allow 10 kilos which isn't bad. The only problem with carry on luggage you can't really take any fluids ie toothpaste, make-up, cleansers unless you buy on the otherside of security which is a pain. You can take through a tiny tube in a clear bag depends what you need. Where are you going? Jud x

Wide leg trousers in a dark colour with a choice of comfortable shoes or boots for day and heels for the evening. A cashmere jumper ( Tesco do good priced ones) in a pastel shade for shopping to go under your coat and a silky top in a jewel colour to team with the trousers for evening, perhaps with belt to bring it all together.
Alternatively wear a skirt suit during the day with boots and put a silky blouse under the jacket for the evening and team with shoes

LOVED Berlin when we went last year - it is a very young and uber-cool place. Definitely go with the foxy boots - they will keep you warm and look great. Wear them on the plane ,along with your warm coat. Some fab coloured leather gloves would be a great accesory too ( sorry about the recurring theme - berliners do seem to like leather..) dont forget your wooly undies!

Do check the weather forecast before you go tho, sometimes November is really mild. Not always, but sometimes! You'll love it- it';s a great place- so much to see and do and a really good 'vibe'..
