I used to love getting wolf whistles,I never found them offensive at all,to me it was just a bit of a joke...I did go a bit red faced though...I still get the odd one(very odd)& usually from a distance!!!

I get wolf whistles all day, every day!!

My secret....????

Two African Grey Parrots called Charlie and George and two sons who thought it would be funny to teach them how to do it!!

As a girl I would hate walking past building sites. There was always the inevitable whistle and whilst beetroot red, I would usually trip over something. How many hours were spent planning the walk to the bus stop, increasing my journey by a mile to avoid MEN!!!

These days I believe it happens less frequently. Two reasons; I have witnessed girls shouting abuse back to the guys, telling them exactly where to go.... and I believe some Companies do not allow their employees to whistle or shout, it is seen as harrasment.

I know that if anyone was kind enough to whistle at me now, I would probably hug them and say THANK YOU!

I get a few looks when wearing my leathers. I seem pretty popular with his mates as we all have bikes in common. As for the wolf wistles, if any man dare, my biker men get very protective and normally clip the wing mirrors off of the offenders cars as they pass.
Im happy to be whistled at, and he doesnt mind. I think its a case of "you can look at my Mrs, but Im gonna be the one in bed with her tonight... " well at least thats what he tells me anyway.

It must be the leathers, as I dont really consider myself a "looker". I know a man in leathers looks nice, but to be honest, seeing a woman in leathers does something for me too.. Dont get me wrong, I'm not that way inclined, but I do find it quite arousing.

I find that I do get the odd wolf whistle, and its normally from men that are younger than me, I get chatted up a lot at work from the younger males, when I asked why they chat up older women, the answer was apparently an "older woman" is an attraction as they are more experienced and a turn on.But why is it men of our age dont want an older woman, just a younger woman, and yet men/boys want an older woman???

Like you Ozzie I would look round to see who they were whistling at. I remember when I was a lot younger...every time I walked from my house to OH's house I always got whistles and stood up a bit straighter, puffed my chest out and sort of sashyed the rest of the way on air......

Then I found out that the man on the corner where the whistles seem to come from had a minor bird that he had taught to do this.....................

I was so embarrassed ... what a good laugh he must have had at everyone who got taken in.

Oh well...............
