Hi
I'd like to start a walking club in the Ayrshire region. I live in South Ayrshire and would be happy to discuss routes / lengths etc. Ideally I'd be looking at a couple of hours walking with a few longer ones with the prize of a coffee somewhere in the walk but open to suggestions! Sheena

Hi
Just spotted your post and I would be interested in a walking club. I live in Ayr but own a car so travelling is no problem. I love walking around this area and would love some company! PS my name is Sheena too

Hi I live in North Ayrshire but have a car so travelling is no hardship. Have walked quite a lot in Galloway forest park and climbed the Merrick but that was a few years ago and don't think I would like to do it again. More into walking round Lochs and Forests now. Is that what you mean or more hill walking? Have just started this forum so all this is new to me. Unfortunately my name is not Sheena although I do have a friend with that name....does that count?? My name is Anne and I am in my mid fifties so I could possible be an old git I'm not sure...depends on your age. PS The prize of a coffee sounds great to me! One simply must plan one's route round an excellent coffee shop...or whats the point?

Hi I just spotted this post and as I live in Ayr and enjoy walking, replying to this seemed like a great idea, especially if there is a chance of a nice cup of coffee somewhere along the line. Funnily enough my name isn't Sheena either but it is Ann so that's a good start I suppose. I'm not sure if this will reach any of the posters as I see that the original posts are quite old.
I think I might be an old git too but I'm a nice old git
Hope to hear from someone even if your name isn't Sheena or Ann(e).
Ann
