Hi Violet
welcome to the forum, I never used my juicer, it ended up in the skip when we redecorated. My blender though - that I love, I do bananna and strwberrie smoothies, tropical fruit mix smoothies, if you blend from frozen they come out like a slushy - very nice. Sorry not much help to you with juicers though

You can't put banana or avocado in a juicer (which annoyed me). Apple is gorgeous but you have to drink immediately, ditto pear, or it goes a disgusting shade. Pineapple didn't yield much and I was disappointed with apple and blackberry as the berries left no impression. Harder fruits give more juice than soft. I ended up making mostly orange or orange and grapefruit then decided it was cheaper to buy the fresh orange juice. Juicer is now hiding under the sideboard.

Hi violet. We used to have a juicer and juiced everything in sight for a while. I loved carrot juice - it's really sweet and tastes so much better than it sounds. I found the fruit juices too sweet for me, so tended to make mostly vegetable ones. Carrot, apple and celery juiced was very refreshing. Like feathers said though, you have to drink it immediately. Have fun playing with it - you'll most likely find a lot of interesting recipes online if you google.

Pears are good, and the firmer the better, and make a good base to mix with vegetable juices. Celery and peppers are good
