Hi rosie
I have just joined the W&H forum. Are you still interested in going walking in Rushden? I live in Rushden and have signed up for the Ribbon Walk. Let me know if you still want a walking buddy.

Hello Rosie,
Nice to hear from you. I am not very fit either but need to get motivated to get fitter and I thought walking would be a good way to do this. I sometimes go walking at Stanick Lakes and Irchester Country Park but it would be nice to have some company. I usually just work three days at the moment and need to get in training as I am doing the Ribbon Walk at Blenheim on June 9th. I also need to loose a bit of weight and thought walking might speed this up.
Hope to hear from you soon Rachel

Hi Rachel,
Are u free Fridays, although i do not work i am a student (a really old one!) and at the moment am revising hard for my exam on june 13th but generally i am free on fridays, wot do you think?? After about June 27th college closes so probably more flexible then, if fridays no good to you - what would suit you, days , evenings ?? cos although i have a lot going on most of what i do does not usually take the whole day up.

Rosie

Hello Rachel,
I was thinking that maybe we could walk Friday 15th June, as i will have done my exam, so no more revising (for a while). Do you want to meet for a coffee first to discuss tactics?? (Beans in Higham, Needle n Awl??) Let me know what you think but cannot do anything between now and the 13th.

HI Rosie, the 15th of June is fine and Beanz in Higham would be too. I have just completed the 10 mile Blenheim Ribbon walk but would love to do some walking in this area. What time do you suggest?
Rachel

Is there anyone interested in a( short, like 2 to 3 miles) walking club in the Exmouth/Exeter area.
Much as I would like to do marathons, I can't, but I do enjoy walking for an hour or so (and perhaps ending with a coffee/tea ?

Hi, I did the walk for life too a couple of years ago. Alas I have now developed Rheumathoid Arthritis and I have not done much exercise. As a result the pounds have gone up and fitness decreased i am in desperate need to start again and get myself on track after all I'm only 52 and not yet ready for a sedentary life of boredom. BTW I live in Guildford [
