I don't spend ALL of my time at work on the forum...obviously!!! They might notice something was wrong if I did! It's just a little pre-holiday treat for me.... and the boss has gone on holiday already...and I'll delete all the history before I leave the building!!!!

Good afternoon Girls.
I'm just back from work, have you missed me? Blimey work was traumatising today, I had to do 2 shops with clients and one of them tried to get out of the car whilst I was driving along!!!!
The weather here is glorious, it's a pity I'm in doors all day, I have to do some h/w my house is looking like a midden!! I've got nothing planned for the weekend, I'll just see what the weather is doing before I know what I'm doing.
Awful shame the weather is grotty with you mjm.....ha

Work today and having noticed the cobwebs on the landing this morning I know what I'll be doing later! Somehow I've managed to work right through lunch (one rush job after another today - everyone wants an answer NOW). I'm looking forward to getting home and a large glass of something red as the sun goes down (that'll be about the time I get to relax tonight). Roll on Saturday...

Quite a busy one for me out tonight with a group of friends... and I think it will be a late one. Am staying over at someones house ........ then back home in the morning get changed see son and GF off on holiday then straight off out to a bbq very early afternoon until I drop with exhaustion I think ( lots of children and adults). So sunday will be spent recovering , shopping washing etc.

I'm just finishing the ironing so that I can pack. Me and the better half are off to Kent (just outside Rye) for a week of doing nothing very much. I have a list of NT gardens I want to see and photograph with the intention of turning the grounds of Ashbee Towers into something wonderful (fumph!). I'll read what you've all been doing when I get back...

Well, I was planning a quiet day today, the washing, a little shopping - then - the carpenter turned up to start on my laundry room. He pulled everything out into my hall and is resiting the sink unit and appliances. I thought this would begin on Monday. The upshot is that we will be living in a mess over the weekend and I think I will be going to the launderette tomorrow - yeuk.

Mine started of with a visit to Nurse to change dressing after Wed minor op then off for CT scan. I know how to live.
Tomorrow we drive down to Somerset to a friend's wedding which I'm hoping the weather stays nice for or at least dry.
Back on Sunday night and then another fun packed week visiting the hospital again for results etc.
For all those going on holiday have a great time and for those who aren't have a good weekend anyway.

I went to the hospital and had my routine mammogram, just have to wait now for a couple of weeks to get results. I then decided to have a look round for something new to wear for the 19th, didnt really see anything that hit me in the face, although Im going back in the morning, as I saw a lovely dress in Monsoon, but I dont think OH will like it somehow.
It might be a case of wearing something I already have, as I cant be bothered to troll around shops, the big centre here in Derby is so busy all of the time, you cant hear yourself think.
It is so warm here today, it might be BBQ time tonight, I thought of a nice hallumi starter, followed by chicken kebab on sticks, and loin lamb chops, with a huge green salad, pitta bread and greek yogurt. Yum yum. Hope you all have a nice evening. Plasmo x

Hi mjm, Have a lovely holiday Cuppy x
I've got nothing on this weekend but we usually end up going somewhere. I'm having trouble with my laptop at the moment - the connection isn't "catching" so it keeps going to battery & once the battery runs out then "puff" I'm gone. Hurrah I hear a few of you think(or should that be loads?) ...so if I stop mid sentence you know why...
Going to CG with a class on Tuesday so will check out our restaurant. It looks fantastic on the web Sally! Can't wait!

Hi everyone, Got a child centred weekend. D is swimming in a gala on Sat evening and my S is playing his trumpet as part of one of the county orchestras in a concert at a theatre in Northampton on Sunday. So proud. Had the day off today and have done absolutely nothing except go and get my air cut. Will spend tomorrow morning running around doing all the jobs I should have done today

Pretty bleak here. Didnt sleep well (see Restless legs). My baby girl is off camping with the scouts for 4 days. OH and I alone. Very unusual. We are going Gold Class at the movies to see "Hancock". Then maybe quick peruse of the shops and home to the ironing and "The Bill." Tomorrow is "Tartan Day" at Southbank, which is our fairly gorgeous public space by the river. I love pipe bands but its likely I will go alone because nobody else I know does!
